Cris I would have kept it up there. I think you made a valid point.

I think it was a valid post, too, Cris. Compounding sloppiness with even more sloppiness doesn't leave the best impression.

I have no problem with threads such as those being deleted .. however, I do agree that if the thread is in place for that long without moderation that it does seem silly to delete at this point.
However, I just read the whole thread and don't think there was much of significance amongst the many pictures and rattling on. I would however, be totally bummed about missing another deleted thread had I not just read it LOL. I would like to see LL follow through on their new policies ... how many warnings or threads locked or deleted it should take for them to take action? |

Abuse reported? Aw, c'mon, talk about overreaction. I mean, I'm not a great fan of peach cobbler, either, but that's a bit much.

I would like to see LL follow through on their new policies ... how many warnings or threads locked or deleted it should take for them to take action? Be interesting to know.. although sometimes I think thats what the motive for some posts actually are. A call for martyrdom.. then they are free to continue in other forms saying how they were harrangued and how life is so unfair... Pretty much biz as usual only now they have more ammo for the agenda. I think I've already seen this happen once here already. Siggy. _____________________

Cris I liked your original post too. You shouldn't have deleted it. But to be honest I didn't understand all of it. For example, what did you mean by MILF? and what is Goatse?

To be honest, I didn't understand all of it either. However, I do believe that MILF is a German number - it comes after elf and zwölf. Goatse is the plural of goat in Esperanto. _____________________

The 'A funny thing happened on my way to the fourms' thread was tossed into an admin forum for a post-mortem to prepare for disciplinary action etc. if deemed necessary. It appears that thread slipped out of control during a moderator's off hours. Be assured we will be reviewing the Abuse Reports and taking action if necessary...in other words, PLEASE BEHAVE!

I would have been interested in seeing that post. And the rest of that thread. But I went shopping for my girl who's going to college on Monday! She is going to a college where there is no real cafeteria - Kennesaw State University - but each girl has her own room and bath, and she shares a kitchen and living room with another girl. Even has a washer and dryer! And a brand new kitchen!
I think I mentioned this to y'all before - how she's gonna live better than we do, and all that. Well anyway, all this has meant needing kitchen things, so I was off doing that today. My favorite part of this whole college folderal! Also today came her new Dell Inspiron 700, fancied up like you wouldn't believe by - of course - moi. I ask you, is that kid lucky, or what! coco |

Time to water my plants! It is part of my personality to share things openly with people, Ingrid. Especially when it is good news. If you don't like to read my posts, why not skip them, rather than poke fun at them? This is about the third time you've done it, in addition to putting it in your signature. coco |

This is about the third time you've done it, in addition to putting it in your signature. Ah, I see. So it's cool to share irrelevant personal details, but if Enabran mentions that he has devised a gourmet method of preparing Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, it's just a means of derailing the thread and getting it locked and he should be banned! Yes, yes, I see. That does make perfect sense. Listen, the reason so many people don't like your posts is because you're inconsistent, yet you say nasty things demanding consistency and even perfection in others (except those you label helpless victims, whom you hand free passes). That's really lame! ![]() ![]() ![]() _____________________

You know I like your recipes, Enabran.
But this business of people constantly asserting, "the reason so many people don't like you" or "the reason so many people don't like your posts" has GOT to stop. coco |
