I would build a 14,000 prim shiny chair and sit in it, then invite Maxx over to be jealous. I'd of course build a highly detailed shack in the center, then invite Marcos over. But the door wouldn't open. There would be a moat surrounding it, waiting to be filled with his burning tears of jealousy and impotent rage. I am disturbed by the two of you. Your facsination with shiny and each other is.. well.. not right!  _____________________

I'd recreate either-
a)Saltaire - a planned mill village near where I grew up or b)An inner city London housing estate I could make a secret island with the land terraformed to the minimum and the land being made out of prims. Below the land there would be a secret underground something which no-one would notice beneath the sandy primmy land. _____________________

I'd make Josh build me a park and put my family and friends houses around it, build a mall, have some fab shops on it, build a sandbox and finally a nice peacefull retreat in the corner

i cant afford a sim, and groups dont co-operate in accuiring something that wuda been for their benefit, wanted a sim to build a temple for the Jedi, fuck the jedi i have chosen the Dark Side now, now i need somewhere for the Imperial Senate heh.. it'll never happen why do i run the sith i dunno i'm a failure i cant bring nothing to this world

Maybe a sim like boardman, but the roads are wider and are made of water like Venice.
Or I'd make a space sim. Just turn the texture to black and make it forever night. I think that'd be cool. _____________________

Work too damn hard at building something lovely or unique, hoping to garner either admiration or popularity, become socially cut off from those that you like and admire in SL, suffer from Post-build depression when the main vision is finished, stress over the millions of little details you'd like to add but are just too burnt out to do so, and eventually sit in your sim, hermit-like and fester, with the seeds of bitterness and discontent growing... What he said... Then i would get another one and do it again. cause i am a moron. _____________________

I would like to see the Lindens pony up theland fees for some of these projects though. Perfect example(s) are Spitoonie island or Chicago. Huge amounts of time and creativity that end up being lost cause of some silly commercial reason. I think there should be some kind of social fund for preserving some of these builds instead of losing everything just because people are a little bored with it lately. Not everything needs to or should make money in SL. Where would we look for wilderness if not for a few folks who make it for free? It seems so inefficient to waste all that work. Thank you so much Diane it was very hard to take Chicago down it's so nice to hear it mentioned every now and again.  Cat _____________________
