what if time were to suddenly stop but only for you?

Ever see the Twilight Zone episode where an old curmudgeon finds a magical watch?

He accidentally finds out he can stop time, by stopping the watch. Everything's great for a while, he can get all the free stuff he wants by stopping time, and he doesn't have to deal with people (he is an anti-social sort). All good, until he drops the watch and it breaks. Everyone else is frozen in time, permanently.

The episode concludes with him running around frantically begging the frozen citizens to talk to him, slowly spiraling into madness.

A modern parable I suppose.

What if this really is the matrix?

What if we could move mountains with our minds?

What if everyone was suddenly gentle, caring and compassionate for a month?

What if we had never discovered fossil fuels?

What if ants are actually more intelligent than us?

What if we could really have a deep, in-depth conversations with dolphins?

What if our entire universe is just one amongst millions and millions?

What if each moment of time, past, present and future, are always there, always exist, and we could step into any of them we wished?

What if god were one of us?
