wuv, do you wait for it to go back to the login screen or do you keep stopping the login process and starting it over again?

It TAKES TIME. Wait for it before halting the login. Most everyone else seems to be logging in fine. I just logged in twice in the past five minutes (I'm switching between computers).

I wait.. and then it takes me back to the "LOGIN" screen.. it gives me an error message.. and i press log in again.. and so on......

Please for the love of puppies, let Wuvme in. We are all suffering.

Wuvme, any chance you've installed something firewall-esque during the past few days you haven't had access? Or hit "BLOCK" by any chance?

wuvme, check your email. I found that I was getting the error on the login too, but then recieved a note that I had been suspended because I hadn't paid. I had changed my credit card and forgot about SL, so is it possible you did the same?

hi wuvme - i got on earlier and then tried to get back in and have the same loop of trying - kicked back to log in page with - despite our best efforts yadda yadda yadda - so - i think im going to try force quitting sl then starting over again.

awww... well at least you got in.. its been 4 days and nada for me.. but dont wait they SHOULD be fixing this crap by tommorrow.. i hope.

I was able to get in fine earlier, then went to get my daughter, now...it gave me a download option again o.O amazeing, children are curses in desguise

Not the greatest of updates in the history of SL. Managed to log in and went shopping. Bought an outfit from Vindi Vindaloo and tp'd home. Created a new folder, moved the items into the folder and bam - they disappeared. Did a search and they had literally disappeared. Luckily Vindi said she would send me another copy. Waited 5 mins - did not arrive. She sent me another - did not arrive. Went to the shop and finally got the outfit.

Then i had to play hop skip and jump tping back home. Would not let me tp directly here.

Just logged out and realised i needed to do something in SL before i finally logged out. Can't get back in. Oh logged in as we speak on the nth try.

How is this update an improvement from what we have been suffering all weekend? Was it wise to bring this update forward?

The auto update is borked. Download the install exe. from the SL Community/Downloads section, and install it over the top of your previous install. I was having the same issues you are, until Shadow told me to do it with the exe. file rather than the auto updater. Thanks Shadow!

So I logged out to see if I could replicate wuvme's error.

I replicated it.

And now I can't get in. I successfully logged/relogged about 10 times during the "golden era" of about 2 hours.

I've been sitting at "Connecting to Region..." for almost a full TiVo'd episode of Seinfeld now... I'd say about 20 minutes.
