Which new users of 2005 have you met that you think are stunning reasons why new users are SL's best hope?

Here are a few of mine:

Hiro Queso
Foolish Frost
Ellie Edo
Dogspot Boxer
qDot BunnyHug

boy, as a new 2005 user I'm kinda scared to feel that intensly about the matter, "best hope" against what my brother? total meltdown of SL? having to interact the old fashioned way, go to bars and get drunk and laid and yet wish you were a pink bunny who just made something cool out of prims? hmmmm I haven't met any of your picks but you seem to care an awfull lot about things so I will double your vote!

Hiro Queso
Snowcrash Hoffman
Cienna Samiam
Katja Marlowe
Dianne Mechanique

And although not a new SL resident, I have to say that my hopes for the future are firmly resting on the surprisingly broad shoulders of Barnesworth Anubis and his alter ego, the lovely Lady Barnes.

can't think of 5 at the moment..
09-24-2005 01:31
i haven't been spending enough time in-world to get a good feel for a personal opinion on this, but..

i have to mention: Armath Severine

in a short amount of time, he's tackled many things.. and expresses himself lucidly and with creative vigor.

there are some others, but i'm just too drained to think after my "2012" post (not to mention the research!) in Off-Topic.

Off the top of my head:

Elror Gullwing is just a year old and has contributed vastly to the elven community in SL.

Lehua Lamington is a professional storyteller who shares her talent inworld most Thursday evenings. It's different and it's fun.

Olmy Seraph joined in late 2004 but is still less than a year old and has impacted the world with such grid-wide projects as the AIDS Memorial Quilt.

Well, how flattering.

Sadly, the truth is, I have yet to save anyone from anything but bordom.

BUT!

Gosh, blaze, I actually thought you had more inside your head than to come up with one of these asinine "best of" threads.

Or, if you had to, I'd have thought your "best of" would have had some kind of satiric punch. You sure you're not just an alt of some of these "FIC" noodles who regularly feel compelled to worship each other by manufacturing silly lists?

God damn it, would you sour grapes people go away so I can enjoy my first time making a list?

Sheesh. You'd think it was all about YOU, not ME.

Iumi Cline - So smart and talented, she's scary. And shes not the slightest bit pretentious about it.

Cienna Samiam
- Passionate and articulate writer.

Armath Severine - SL's first Teen Grid graduate and a skillful DJ.

Eata Kitty - Brilliant programmer and quick wit.

Cory Edo - Talented builder/artist and great personality.

Wooops. I thought a 2005 start date was a requirement. But still, the five people I listed are superstars as far as I am concerned :D

It is but who's going to do anything about it if you break the rules?

I don't know when he joined SL, but that Jeht Pacer guy is a sick texture artist. He's gonna be one to watch, I think.
