That is good to hear; the games are such good mechanisms - normally - for recirculating cash in system. From: someone Originally posted by Ama Omega You would be correct. That doesn't mean they are *staying* down.
I worked for a while making some new tracking and security scripts and now I am working on a new payment system entirely that will consolidate the number of places that actually take money, and thus make tracking it that much easier.
The Well in Taber is up, I will probably open up the Well in Perry and the Well in DarkWood this weekend. I also have the coin flip game up, as soon as I put the coin back in it (it flew off world last night lol).

well this didnt play out as I had anticipated so can we get back on topic?
Last I remember, Christopher Omega had stepped up to the plate as Boardwalk manager. Despite him usually sporting a box of some sort on his person, he seems interested AND talented enough to actually DO something with the boardwalk. As long as it didnt cost him anything to do so, why not let him take a crack at making the boardwalk into a place we can enjoy?

I think Chris would to a very good job at managing the Boardwalk, but I would like to suggest a different candidate.
How about Joan and Harald Nomad? They live over there, they run their business over there, and they are quite talented, as we have all seen.
They would to me seem to be the most logical choice for the job.
Thanks!

I never go to the boardwalk any more, BUT it's very important to my SL psyche. It was the first thing I ever saw in SL. (For the Portal fans) Dirk Ruddy first arrived at the boardwalk, and I went there a few moments after I first arrived IW. Given, it's fallen into disarray, but it simply needs some attention. No one ever goes there (including me) and that makes me sad. I am super-pro someone updating it, and I'd be willing to help in any way I could. In all my SL time, the boardwalk has never gotten the attention that I think it deserves. Paraphrase: I like Boardwalk. Need be pretty. Yay update, I help.

Well, I made some rides and was loooking for someplace to put them so strolled over to Boardwalk but I kept falling *through* the boardwalk.
Plus, the place is EMPTY.
So for now, I've kept my rides at my place, but I'd certainly be interested in being part of a group to rejuvenate the Boardwalk.
If lag in that area is a problem, could it be packed up and moved elsewhere like the Disco was?

Hey how about a linden themed sim =) The lindens could put all their builds there, sort of like a museum. Does anyone have pictures of the old linden builds? I never explored as a noob because i had a crummy gfx card that kept crashing the game.

I don't know if the boardwalk is contributing much to the lag in Clara, but if it is, perhaps it could be rearranged so that the most resource-intensive parts of it were in Varney. That might balance the load on the two sims, while requiring minimal relocation.
