Juro,

Yes, I managed to preserve a few early photos, but unfortunately I made the usual mistake of saving my pictures to the second life folder, so nearly all the early stuff has gone.

My photos folder in inventory is not quite as bad as my Objects folder (only tens of photographs called Snapshot, as opposed to hundreds of objects called Object) but at least I am managing to preserve them now. I did manage to keep a couple that show my first cabin in de Haro, where, because of the way the system worked then, I was able to cram my 512 sq m with furniture and plants. :)

I'm a sucker for old things which is why I bought land in Boardman and DeHaro. My stomping grounds!

Taber is also virtually unchanged since I started (over a year ago) and still one of the prettiest sims. And the city sims (Grignano, Barcola, Miramare and Sistiana) are very similar from when I started as well, although they look better now. One of my favourite places when I started was Cafe Jack in south Grignano (which is still exactly the same :) ) and Lordfly's builds in the sourrounding area.

Edit to add: I love Lime. It's so old school, I would hope they never change it.

This is Cafe Jack:

I'm at De Haro now, there's a farm that is probably the farm I remember, with a horse that neighs when you touch it.

And a tree that's hollow at the bottom, with a tiny fireplace that must be for something very small.

De Haro has some seats for a meeting righ in the middle of the sim. They remind me of the seats at old Stage 4.

The now Linden-owned japanese villiage/towers thinger just past the welcome area. And the bridge that now goes to the city sims, but once went to the Linden theme-park.

the sandbox near the ahern wa. still the same since 1.1.

Going on 2 years now. Freaky.

That is a beautiful, beautiful, barn! (I've been looking for a weathervane to use myself.) Who made it? Did you make it, Ingrid?

coco

P.S. Does anyone have the coordinates for it? I can't see well enough to be able to fly around to find it. (That is, in the game; I see fine irl.)

Ingrid! w00t! That's a very old status too... but as they say in Star Wars, "There is another", which is even older I reckon. Have you seen that one? :)

TORLEY!!!!!! What are you talking about?? I wanna see. :)

Thanks Coco, and yes, I built the barn and the weather vane was made by SteveR Whiplash. It actually works, rotates with the wind. Location: South East DeHaro (old old old land) :)

The Morris sandbox is not really the same, it has a forked path leading to the east and west building areas, the building areas are enclosed with fences and for some inexplicable reason the west side now has trees in it,

That is one HECK of a beautiful barn! Enough practically for me to print it out or something, or make it my wallpaper on my computer. Landscaped perfectly, also!
