As I clean the house, and pick up the 432,642,694 things my kids left around, I just want to hit the button that "returns all objects" to their owners. I'd love to do that for all the cigarette butts that ppl just toss on the sidewalk. |

About a week after I started SL, I was playing day and night, almost 24 hours a day since i had nothing to do at all. When i went to sleep one night, I woke up at about 2 AM (this was after 24hr SL) and felt the need for a bathroom. I couldn't tell whether it was me or my AV who had to go! I thought to myself "I'll make a toilet in the morning." It took me about a half hour to an hour to figure out it was me that had to go... Boy did I feel better whe I got back on SL that morning! ^________________________________________________^ _____________________

well another thing I do...which may be more of a wish. As I clean the house, and pick up the 432,642,694 things my kids left around, I just want to hit the button that "returns all objects" to their owners. That is definately a wish I want to have made real!!!! Hmmm... I accidently refer to prices in Lindens instead of dollars! ALOT. And stand amazed as someone gives a .05 of something! Oh, and Meatwad, just be glad you hadn't be playing TSO for hours on end then! Or just The Sims period! _____________________

Recently I've been looking for a job, but I don't really have any transportation, so I've been trying to find something close. I did see this one place that looked really nice, though, but it was really far away. I realized that I knew someone who worked right near there, though, so I actually started looking into the job more thoroughly, to the exclusion of all the other places I was looking at, until I realized that I couldn't just ask for a TP whenever I needed to be there.

When you look at your apartment walls and think, "Gee if I put "x" texture on this wall with a little blue tint, and "y" texture on that wall w/a little yellow, that'd really brighten up the place!"
 or When typing a business letter, you have to go back and pull the lol's and w/out's and IMHO, and prims, and such out of the text. or When you have a very tough time knowing what time it is or when something will happen without translating it back from SL time (I live in the Central time zone),  and ... to combat that problem, you have post it's on your computer with SL AND Local times for the same appointment, to give you a fighting chance at making it there on time!  or having friends you describe as dragons and dogs and other non-standard human forms seems normal, so much so that you don't understand why non-SL folk look at you as if you've really gone off the deep end, and yet they wear little lizards (Izod) and Bulls and Bears all day long without giving it a second thought! _____________________

When you think... I don't want to walk all the way out to my car from my office cubicle, so I try to pan out of the building, and click "GTFOH!" on the car to leave.
When you keep walking around objects and peeking you head close to people and objects to check them out better. This can be troublesome when you try to pan up. When I CLOSE APPLICATIONS BECAUSE I EXPECT IT TO KEEP THE SAME STATE WHEN I CALL IT BACK UP AGAIN WITH A SHORTCUT. You know, like IMs in SL. This can be trouble when your'e doing a tech support job and have 9 apps, some of which depend on others running. When you try to do a kung-fu move and rip out someones spine.... oh wait, wrong game. |
