I was driving to work today and had an experience that some of you may have had (or else I 've really gone off the deep end). I was driving along and there was this cool car in front of me, and out of pure reflex I thought, Oh! I'll just right-click on it and see who the Creator/Owner is, and get more information about it.....OMG! I'm a SL junkie! So I thought it might be fun to see if any of you had a similar experience (or make up sumthin clever) by starting this thread. Plus we might get a good chuckle for the day. In the spirit of Jeff Foxworthy and his, "You might be a redneck if...", please post you're completion to the sentence, "You might be a SL junkie if in rl..."

When I am doing anything on the computer I find myself constantly trying to Alt-mousedrag so I can zoom around and see what is behind something. I could be looking at a photo on CNN and... "hrmmm she's wearing a cute top, I wonder what it looks like in back..... DOH!"

When you see things and think, "Wow, I wonder if I could tile that... what a texture!"

Maxx Monde and I were at a party and saw a SHINY lamp we liked, and immediately commented on how many prims we could build it in.

I have 4 SL t-shirts in RL.

I do the Alt+Zoom thing a lot in other games. D'oh!

I think the biggest thing for me is that I see everything around me built out of prims. Like I'll look at a building or a computer printer or a car and think "Yeah, I see how they did that. That's a torus cut this way and then moved this way......."

I view real life items as prims as well. I suppose that better than trying to spot golems and portals in the real world when i was playing AC.

When RL plywood items are untextured

Last weekend, I made plans with a friend of mine to take our kids to the movies. Well the plan was, at least I thought, to meet at my house then go to the movies from there.

I called her because she was taking forever to get there.

I said, "Where are you?"
She said, "walking across the parking lot of the theater?"
I said to her, " you are already there? ugh..tp me."
She said, "huh?"
I said, "uhhh it will TAKE me a few minutes, the phone must have cut out."

When you see something grey and you stand there looking at it, waiting for the textures to load.

....you've already had this conversation with other junkies... uh... enthusiast.

....you convert USD to $L in your head and think "yea, I can buy that after a couple more sales/poker games/plots sell/etc".

....when you ask your wife to sit on a sex ball.

When you tell your husband you don't have that particular animation.

Or when you go to an open house and marvel at how they managed to squeeze all those prims into 512.

I look at lots of RL items and wonder how many prims they are made of. But wven worse--some of my dreams have converstions in chat format! What's a girl to do??!!

As I clean the house, and pick up the 432,642,694 things my kids left around, I just want to hit the button that "returns all objects" to their owners.

if... driving to work (i live outa town so its a long drive) I want to use x-flight and get there faster.

if... when you break something your first thought is to find a new on in your inventory

if... walking threw the mall the other day, I felt it would be more successful if it was an open air mall so I could stand in one place and see everything.

if... my house gets smaller and more cluttered every day, and I think to myself, time to tier up!

if... my little sister is at that age where she cant shut up, what I would give for a "mute" option.

if... I use the zoom and pivot options CONSTANTLY and it is extremely annoying when it dosent work on any other app.

if... you think of money as L$ and spending 1,000$ seems cheap (20$US)

if... you keep your eyes closed to prevent the world from "loading"

if... look for the "quit" button when your laying in bed trying to sleep ("its late better log out!"

if... you watch a new construction and wonder why they are using so many prims

if... you try to edit any RL object

if... at night you try to use the debug window to make the sun come back

I haven't consciously attempted click on a non-existing landmark to teleport somewhere, but I have over an hour commute each way, to and from work, 5 days a week and sometimes it's so frustrating and boring that I wish I could click something and teleport home. I'm sure in the far off future, this is gonna be possible....the only question is, will one wind up snatched bald, robbed of their jewerly and naked like I do in SL, once they reach the other side

Whenever I see a cow walking around I keep thinking I can click on it, click edit and spin it around and set it on fire, then I renember that I don't have a cup of coffee,

I see everything IRL as linked prims.

You start thinking what great graphics rendering you're getting on the grass and sky outside your office window...

....things aren't clicking for you at work one day, and you blame it on lag.

Uhhhh---I just thought of another thing---I just struggled to put my chaps on! Sure wish I could just click and drag those suckers onto me!
