Well on a positive side at least my agenda got squashed with Ingrids.

Duly back to serious responses:

Prokofy, in point of fact, Hearsts Mistress had no talent. LOL. I see what you mean though about free events being state sponsored, but really I never got the impression the intent of Faded Reality was to make money off Chicago. I could be wrong, but they seemed to be some very creative people expressing themselves.

Martin and crew have had nothing but drama through this whole thing. Lets not forget the poutfest notecard that was sent out to all the acts the day of the opening saying the project wasn’t going to open and everyone work was for nothing, cry me a river blah blah. This project was over before it started according to the leaders, forget about all the hard work other people put into it.
(edited)

This project had nothing Chicago like about it. There was no Chicago architecture whatsoever, the stone was wrong, the roads were wrong, the street lights were wrong, the cemetery was wrong, the park, etc etc. The Cotton Club was in NYC, not Chicago. Blah Blah. Why not just call the project 1920's or something and be done with it. If you are going to name projects after a city make some efforts to reflect the city and the time period. None of that was done with this project at all. As a long time Chicago resident, architecture lover, a history buff, I stand by my original impression of project and its leaders.

This thread was just another grand standing dramatic ploy in a long line of grand standing dramatic ploys and hiss fits by this "group".

And Prokofy this has nothing to do with FIC, I know that is your fixation, but it is very far from the reality.

Maybe people didn't flock to the Sim because it wasn't all that well done? Vindi did some wonderful work, the Butcher Shop was amazing, along with her store, with those exceptions, the rest was entirely lackluster.

I’m glad this little melodrama is over.

P.S.
Martin/Catherine/Sybil- Why do you keep spelling your partner (or alt?) Claire's name wrong?

Well I suppose there is always room to do something better than you think others have done it. What ever the accuracy issues, it was an interesting project: interesting to explore and participate in. I am sure having details of a mysterey posted before it could be solved detracted much of the reason for the build and stiffled ongoing participation.

And the FIC thing was not Prokofy's doing, it was brought up in jest and exploited in amusement, and stiffled in the interest of staying on topic.

Actually this all started because you made a spelling/grammer mistake which I innocently pointed out and you flew off the handle with negativity, and then did it repeatedly.

Good Luck on your future projects. And don't buy poker tables from Mobsters. A Free tip!
