Both D/s and Gorean relationships can be sex-free, and some are. While a large percentage have some sex play involved, as do all intimate relationships, that isn't always the case.

It's up to the participants to decide how far to take it or what boundries to set on their particular relationship. Open communication is the key.

And of course, all online slavery is voluntairy and to a degree role-playing. Remember: Safe, sane and consensual is the way to go.

And to clarify:

Most D/s relationships involve a Dominant and submissive. The submissive isn't a slave, nor are they usually treated as such. It is an equal and mutually satisifying relationship (which may confuse some folks, but feel free to IM me if you need clarification).

Some more extreme or rigid D/s relationships do involve a "slave", and all Gorean relationships do, but again, this simply means a more strict role for the submissive, with clear rules for interaction and behavior. It is, again, mutually satisfying and consensual.
