As long as it's an "if" scenario, there's is no reason the corresponding cost of a mainland sim wouldn't also be adjusted to $100. To do otherwise would doom the mainland grid. My answer to this poll is no; replace "private island" with "an entire sim, private island or mainland grid" in the question and it would be yes.
