Just a question..
In the User Agreement it says you need to be a North American (US or Canada) resident to play, and by accepting the agreement you confirm that you are that. Wouldn't it be illegal for a non-North American to play? Just asking because I'm Norwegian myself and haven't agreed to the User Agreement, but want to try Second Life out ![]() |

Yes, my money was good. 2) Did they have an option to change country? And was Norway listed there? Yes to both. Guess we cant sue them for anything, as we dont meet their requests in the legal document, but yes we can play. Hurry in - I'd love to meet another Norwegian here! Husk: ta med bøtte og spade - nå skal det bygges!! ![]() _____________________

So I guess I'll be taking a look at SL now and perhaps try it for real when I get back from my vacation ![]() |

Just a Yank chiming in,
I'm awfully glad we do have you all here from other countries. SecondLife wouldn't be nearly as rich and interesting as it is without you! I didn't really intend to out people here, but I've seen several comments about how few British are in SL, but I'm lucky enough to know quite a few that are not mentioned (as yet). Starax Statosky and Jsecure Hanks for two. I always seem to run into Brits by wearing my Dr. Who Dalek avatar, or my Monty Python Gumby. Brits are among the few to 'get' those. My gosh, all the things I steal from British pop culture...and mon Dieu! All that I want to steal from the French, pop culture and otherwise! Building up source material and planning to make some avatars from some of my favorite French films this summer. I seldom meet Asians here, and I regret that. I know of one Taiwanese playing from Taiwan (a country I spent many years in), but he's seldom online; TaiwanHoward Chung. Very nice guy and an innovative builder. It was easy to spot him among the crowd at Cordova as being Asian, and not just by his avatar. I've yet to meet any Japanese, Vietnamese or Koreans, but I hope they are here. The world would be a lot richer for having them in it. Anshe Chung is a Mainlander, I believe, now living in Europe. My gosh how I'd love to run into Thai here, but I've never met any online. I ran into several Japanese in TSO where they had a contingent at one time, but only a few Chinese. I knew one Chinese man (now living in the U.S.) in There. He was certainly one of the most imaginative and proficient of the modelers in There (well known for his shopping cart, shark, dolphin and squid freeloader hoverboards). I'd so love to meet Indians here and see what they might design! But I never have met any Indians in any online world as yet (TSO, There, SL in my experience). Middle Easterners too! I've had the good fortune to meet Turks now and then, they seem very active online. My virtual other half, Minyon Monde spent a lot of time in Turkey and speaks that language, so she tends to be able to spot them and draw them in ![]() Lumi _____________________
