Charlie,

Group Size <3

I don't know why you turned that "new" feature off, but I vote to leave it off.

What does it hurt if I make a "group" title for just me?? We are still limited to the number of groups we can be associated with, and I can't see it's taking up resources anywhere. Why was this such a big deal??

Anyhow, I'm glad I can keep my "Group" of one.....for now.

Has anyone else had a a problem getting inventory and clothing to download when logging in? I have been unable to log in from my home computer, despite it working fine in previous releases. Once I am inworld, movement commands don't function, my avatar doesn't appear, and any chat going on cycles repeatedly, then I am logged off after a couple of minutes. I am trying to track down whether this is a driver problem or possibly a firewall issue.

While resizing objects i have had a strange effect where the object will shrink (or grow) some, sometimes back to the size it was but not consistantly.

I have been having more sound issues than before but i KNOW i need a new sound card so thats mostly my issue.

The debug menu contains some very useful controls! Forcing daylight, making objects invisible so you can see and select land under builds, hiding the selected object so you can find objects lost beneath or inside of other objects like walls and streets, etc!

Please do not "dumb down" the ui to the extent that we do not have access to these very useful tools. I'm all for making things easier to understand, but I will be very unhappy to end up with less abillity to control the environment.

Please, please, please, give us access to the debug menu. Call it something else if necessary ("advanced tools";), but give us access in some way or another.

I totally agree with Bel, the Debug menu used to be one of my most frequently used menus, mainly because of the reasons she gave.

I am having similar problems.

Hi,
I am a very new member. I have only had one build of the client. I have had problems off and on with the client telling me when I try to login, that it cannot locate the server(gives the name address, which I do not remember). Try a few more times and it works. Now the major problem which I think I saw someone else mention in this thread. When I try to login, when the client gets to the "downloading inventory" It locks halfway though. I have to hard reboot to get out of it. I had this problem for about 24 hours and it went away. I played a few hours, then changed my appearance. It locked when I did this, and has been doing the same login lockup as before. I have tried uninstalling the client and then reinstalling, with the same results. I have sent numerous crash reports and bug report. Wondered if I was the only one having this problem, but I have seen a few posts in this thread that had something similar.

The debug menu still lives! It's just hiding. Press Ctrl-Alt-D ("D" for debug) and it will magically reappear.

Some items have been removed (mostly ones that didn't work, or crashed the app when you picked them). But yeah, I don't like removing useful stuff either. :-)
