exactly, Tiger. you guys have a supremely tight single-player RPG and i think it was smart and solid logic to stick with it as such. i believe that decision is largely responsible for the leaps and bounds Elderscrolls is taking with Oblivion.. from graphics to the NPCs AI to the tighter fighting system. the people know Elderscrolls rocks, even the non-editable console version of Morrowind is a monster to be reckoned with. i remember playing Daggerfall and loving it.. also wishing it was an MMO, but loving it. then i came back to the series with Morrowind and was blown away with the improvements. now Oblivion is set to blow me away again. it will be a sad day when the Elderscrolls series comes to a close, but we'll have bitter-sweet comfort knowing we can return to previous releases and play a whole new experience. many of us will have areas on the maps still unexplored! lol... anyhoo, as much as i agree that focusing on the best single player is to the games advantage, i also would love to see an MMO version sometime in the future.. as i said before, maybe the next one could have elements of it? PVP areas for combat, marketplaces, etc.. also including areas where it's dedicated single-player, thereby easing the server loads required. knowing you guys, if we do see such a thing someday, i'm sure it will be a unique experience. ( ..oh yeah, just remembered. i was about to go play it on my Xbox (heheh), but then realized i can't.. it was stolen not long ago. all my Morrowind data.. gone! ARGH! ..now i REALLY have to get Oblivion!)

From: Tiger Crossing Bethesda Game Studios fills a need. A need for QUALITY single-player RPGs. If we didn't, who would? Why abandon that and jump into the already watered-down field of MMOs when we are the best at what we do now? You might say, "Hire more people and do BOTH!" to which I'd say, "Buy lots of copies of Oblivion, and, when it comes out later, Fallout 3, and maybe we CAN expand more." But don't hold yer breath... You wouldn't last an hour. The Elder Scrolls Construction Set is what WE use to make the game, so yes, you can do anything we can do/did. Oblivion is looking SWEET! (...And sorry that I'm saying so myself. ) I completely forgot you work for Bethesda, Tiger! Too cool. I didn't know you guys were making Fallout 3. Pardon me while I dance around the room in joy! Fallout 1 & 2 are my favorite RPG's of all time. The last I'd heard about Fallout 3 was that it had been scrapped (I can't remember who was working on it). Now can you please buy the rights to Gladius from Lucas Arts and resurrect the sequels to that too? hehe.

Our guys in charge of the buying have been gretting us some sweet licensing deals for a song. Who know's what's next? (I might, but I ain't sayin' if I did.) Morrowind tip: Grab the platter in the excise office at the start of the game, but drop it before the guard gets to you with a scolding. When he walks back to his post, pick it up again. Good bit of starting gold before you even finish char gen. If you want the Xbox codes (can't can't find them online for some reason) let me know. I wrote them for own use, but told the boss before shipping. He liked them too so they stayed. (Though he made me take out the cheat that would bring up the console. ) I've seen a video of someone that played through the game in 16 and a half minutes! And that INCLUDE the opening and closing videos that most people skip over... (And now back to working on Oblivion...)

But the two guards I killed. Took every thing before I left the last building. No negative points. ALLOT of good stuff. Some good money makers. What kind of codes?? Edit: First thing I was go get the knife. Then I would kill the first guard, never once did he fight back. Took all his stuff and then put it on and killed the second guard. He never fought back too and I made faster work with Guard one’s sword. Then I would go in and take every thing and put it on the floor. The guy you talk to, to make your person kept yelling guard but none came and he never did any thing. When I left I would go sell it all for a few K. Nice starting money. Then there is the Jumping all over the place. My Wife HATES that. She wants a NPC to stop me and Ask me if there is something wrong with me. So my wife suggestion to you all is to put something in. She would really appreciate it.
