Now you might want to read it differently Buster, but that's how I read it at the time - and still do.
Here we have someone saying that because they do a lot of business in SL (and are rich and powerful - established fact) they should be and consider themselves beyond the rules. The LL auction rules, not mine, LL's. After 7 days the land belongs to the second place bidder.

I'm not attacking Anshe Chung - just looking very carefully at what she has written and drawing some pretty obvious conclusions. If she or anyone else is unhappy about that they should consider who wrote the words quoted above.

As for her playing 'chicken' with other bidders, or 'shilling' the auctions, I couldn't really give a rat's ass about that - anyone with the nerve and money is free to do that.

Taking advantage of LL's willingness to bend it's own rules is fine by me.

But throwing her business influence over LL in people's faces is overstepping the mark by a long chalk in my opinion.

This is a total misrepresentation of what happened.

The entire thread (both threads) were a thinly worded personal attack on Anshe Chung. Most of what was said was innuendo, but a lot was outright personal insults and attack. "Facts" were trundled out that were not facts at all. Words were put into others mouths. The whole thing was juvenile and should have been closed form the first post.

It is against the rules to personally attack someone in this forum. But the first post in the thread was just a link to another forum where the personal attack *could* take place. That is low, really low.

If someone is going to dump all over another player, I think they shouold have the guts to take the AR and do it here.

OK, I found it again. Here is the link to Hamlets story about the chinese nationalists, and Anshe Chung helping out a girl who worked in one of the game sweatshops. It talks about Anshes nationality in this matter as well.

Well I didn't AR my little problem with the auction deadline because I was already talking to a Linden about the issue. When the rules were then bent in the other party's favour, what was I meant to do? AR a Linden? LOL!

Well I am not sure that we are talking about the same thing now, because I was not thinking that it was you that started the thread in question, but I tend not to look at names on posts so it might have been.

I am talking about the post about Anshe "manipulating" auctions. The first post in SL forums just said "certain player" or words to that effect, undeniably just to skirt the Abuse Report. Then the link given, to the SLUniverse forum gives one a big diatribe on Anshe, names her, and makes a lot of compoletely unsupported statements, lies etc. that would get you Ar'ed of course if it was said here.

That's what I was referring to.

The kitty cat (above) posting a link to that racist inuendo thead about Anshe and China and work camps has me confused now.

I just commented on his trolling and his own suggestion that those who feel annoyed should mute him. I think forum users muting trolls on an individual basis is only the second best solution. A better solution is to have the forum mods remove the trolls.

Now I do apologize, Anshe Chungs forum profile says she is from Europe. Doesn't really make any difference, Mine says I live on Jupiter so the location section realy doesn't mean anything. so still who is to say she doesn't live in china.

Also, this is all speculation as you would see by my start of this part of the conversation by the "WHAT IF" post. I am not making accusations, just what if statements.
