No way, if W-Hat wanted to hit the peak of indecency, W-Hat would have sheltered known pedophiles and kept hundreds of cases of child molestation tightly under wraps for years, if not decades. Then maybe we would condemn loving, commited couples as being part of an "ideology of evil".

The TOS talks about "belittling, demeaning," etc. And that's what this does for me, as a Catholic. It denigrates the leader of our Church, and maligns me personally and my religion, and it does it when the people of this faith are mourning the passing of a great leader.

Honestly, you can condemn the Church's appalling behavior on covering up pedophiles, as I do, you can be extremely critical about the Church's attitude towards gays, as I do, and come out for gay rights and advocate forcefully for prosecution of pedophiles, as I do, but you don't have to malign the spiritual and religious leader of a religion and get all cynical and superior because there are aspects of the Church that are wrong. That fact is, this exhibit is stupid, scatalogical, and indecent.

And you don't have to put up a pizza sign that says "ALL HAIL THE IRON FIST OF COMMUNISM" either. That iron fist killed my relatives. And this Pope at least fought aginst that iron fist that killed many people's relatives, as well as fighting against the iron fist of oligarchic capitalism that killed other people's relatives.

So, honestly, I mourn this particular Pope's passing, I commend his remarkable life, and I say that asshats that make "art" like this are to be condemned as indecent and disrespectful, whatever their rights are promoted by the PC crowd out in California.

I can't help wondering if this exhibit were against gays, Muslims, or Jews, instead of Catholics, if we wouldn't have seen a far swifter response from the Lindens as far as banning the creators or removing it from the game.

Who decides what is belittling and demeaning? Could we hear some more guidance from the Lindens on their evaluation procedures?

I understand that this tasteless art in question might be 'offensive' but this is life in 2005, war is offensive, child molestation and the cover ups are offensive, the destruction of God's green Earth is offensive, but we deal with it.
