I have to disagree about the demise of the rental islands. I live on one of Hiro's and they will have to drag me screaming to get me to leave it. Its irrelevant what zoning rights may change on the mainland, most of us on the islands are staying here.

Well, I'd like to agree with you Alexa, unfortunately I'm not sure LL sees it the same way.

In 2005 sims will be so fast that lag will be a thing of the past.. indeed lag will be coveted by many!
People will start hoarding the lag to themeselves, and these ppl will be known as 'Lagbarons' by everyone in SL except one, who will call them the Lagistaaratikiwonky... Much rousing on the forums shall there be for those lag hoarders to share their lag.. the Lindens will be petitioned and they will give everyone what they wish for by trading in the entire grid for a single 8 bit mainframe... ... that can only be programmed in Cobol. Siggy. _____________________

I don't know where SL would be, but I know there will be one constant.
Somebody making statements about landprizes and the price increases of islands, without any data and so forth to back them up _____________________
