I can agree with this. However, if that group's purpose is to try and get changes implemented that will affect all of SL, then they should very well expect that other residents of SL that are not in that group are going to take issue.

Only private chat logs are against the TOS Hiro (IE: IMs or just a couple of people having a convo that was not open to the public). Public chat we are free to post. And of course, third party sites can do whatever they want.

The group has already become a power grab by the anti-FIC paranoiderati ranterati pernicious elite... OMG, they had a meeting with the Lindens! Its so unfair that some have an "inside track" and get treated favorably by the Lindens, getting FAVORS done when they request it, like meetings and use of the Linden Recruitment Center in Waterhead! OMGWTFLOL?!!?!

If any group wanted to do anything for the greater good...

They would leave their personal agendas at the door.
They would not exclude anyone.
Worlds like "representative, lobby, and gov't" should IMO not be used in SL as LL has made it more than clear that they are the only gov't that matters in the end.
They would not talk down to ppl, more so no one would be below them.

Represent the ppl, go for it but make damn sure you represent all the ppl.

What I have read and heard, and seen in the past few days has been nothing more than a comedy of errors.

Ppl are too damn caught up in their own personal agendas to realy make any real change for the greater good. At this time. That's not to say that someday perhaps if ppl got their shit together they could have a voice a strong and positive voice.

I will always question any group that excludes others based on economic value or personal views.

Hail King Philip? Well I think I will wait until all the Lindens are on the same page before putting my sword at his feet.

Gov't? I'm against it, mainly since it doesn't seem like a democratic gov't thus far. Any other type of gov't, sorry but in my heart of hearts I'm a very proud American who has served her country and now supports the efforts of others both personaly and on a country level. I could not support any other type of system.

That in a nut shell is probably why gov't wont work in SL, we are from all over the world. We all carry our own countries gov't systems with us. Perhaps a type of SL UN someday. Perhaps, but certainly not today or any time soon. IMO.

Needless to say I have not laughted this hard in a very very long time, and it's realy been a riot joking and having fun in the forums again.

I didn't spend yesterday on the forums "defending the group" or any individuals in it so much as I spent yesterday talking about the agenda of the group, which reflects ideals of justice and equal opportunity for all.

Not only that, half the people on these forums - or more - consider many of those ideas themselves to be good ones.

The Lindens are listening. The Lindens are always willing to listen. If you care about the points listed on the agenda (not necessarily every last one of them), then join the group, and be a part of shaping these ideas. Everyone's voice counts.
