This is a joke thread, right? You guys do see the obvious biases written into nearly everyone of the questions, right? You see the Hobson's choices in the constuction, right?

Or did someone come to my university and steal this from the Women's and Gender Studies Department front desk where they are advertising a feminism conference?

All that being said and suggested....
Here's the biggest joke...
Economic Left/Right: 5.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 7.08

These numbers are so skewed as to be meaningless.

But I thought that even the liberals needed a laugh.

Sounds about right. I'd say it's pretty accurate :D

And you base that opinion on your extensive knowledge of me, right? Fool.

Yep, it's right where I'd expect someone as ill-tempered and humorless as yourself to score :p

I doubt that this test would pass empirical muster. That said, I am quite pleased that someone out there is acknowledging the existence of a multi-dimensional political model. Left vs. Right is far too simplistic an approach, and it fails to account for the many anomalies in individual political thought.

And your ignorant post above is exactly what I would expect from someone as smugly, self-righteous as you repeatedly prove yourself to be.

This kind of moronic questionaire/chart has a long history of being designed and offered to explain different views. There's evidence of it as far back as, at least, the Ancient Greeks. This is nothing new. And being old and previously used, especially in this case, doesn't lend it any more meaning or claim to validity.

You've certainly won me over with your charms, Korg! I defer to your superior intellect and brute strength. That the teeming un-washed masses are rarely exposed to these "ancient" ideas has absolutely no merit, either, I suppose.

Always my intent! That you are part of your self-described "teeming un-washed masses" who don't realize that ignorance is not something to be admired or desired is not surprising.

Seriously, I have never had the intention to win anyone over, charms or not. Curmudgeons don't have that kind of motivation and wouldn't waste the energy on those lesser than themselves in any such pointless endeavor.

And thus, your grandiose visions will die with you. Pompous windbag.

Well there ya go. I'm glad you're so pleased with your bad attitude and lack of common sense. Should we give you a cookie? :)

Rather than offer me anything, reach around behind yourself and feed on what you have produced. Cheaper and you will probably find it more enjoyable.

No need. You produce enough to feed everyone already. By the way, I think you need more fiber.
