I use to do it fairly often not give money but would give them items from my inventory and not 2nd rate things and not even get a thank you. I dont do it as much now because I feel if you cant have manners then you dont deserve any help. I would of also thought someone who had nothing would be greatful for what ever they got not demanding the best _____________________

Anna, you seem to think they're just being stuck up. But put it this way: If a stranger came up to you in the street and asked for what's /hopefully/ your hard earned money, would you give it to them just like that? Nah, I didn't think so. The point is, there are plenty of legitimate opportunities to make cash in Second Life and if none of them appeal to you, then buy it. I've never spent my own money that I've earned in my first life on second life. I've earned every linden through work and I've got a pretty good avatar with all the things I need. I personally went for writing, but there's a whole world of things out there. |
