ok...you say you're not begging so fine I will accept that and you're right in most cases "it never hurts to ask".. .but here in the forums asking/begging for money is never tolerated. You will be ripped apart everytime and you have to accept that. Most people here work hard in SL for their Ls or use RL money, and they are not just going to give it away to a stranger, yes there are some cases where it happens and yes I have been one of those people to give out Ls to a newbie too... but I met that person in world and got to know them first. Right here you're just a name on a screen and your p[ersonality doesn't seem to be winning points with anyone here.

There are simply too many ways to make money in SL... but it takes time and it sounds like you want instant gratification. Sorry that isn't how SL works. Camping is the only true way of getting free money but you seem to think you are above that. Well, even that is going to be hard to find now that Linden Labs has declared Camping to be against the ToS.

Learn how to build in Sl and sell stuff... that makes money.. lots of it. Get a job as a dancer in a club (if you can be age-verified) tons of tips in that. Honestly.. there are simply too many ways to earn Ls in SL for you to justify asking/begging here in any way especially when you say it is just to tide you over in case you want to buy something... sounds like you are looking for a sugar daddy and you won't find that on the forums.

Sadly even "games" take time and need work and you seem to be the type of person who just wants everything to be easy and come to them immediately. Maybe you should find another game that works differently and doesn't cost you RL money.

Anna, please...I'm not putting you down, I (and the other people who've posted here) am putting you straight. Most of us are actually extremely newbie-friendly. Notice the large number of people who volunteered to help you with your Profile picture (including me) in another thread.

SL is not just a game to us. It's a world. Because of that, we like to see newcomers get off to a good start.

Asking for money isn't going to do that for you.

Even if you don't have a credit card, there are ways to buy $L. PayPal is probably the easiest. Get yourself a PayPal account, and get it verified (by linking it to your bank account). Or, can you buy one of those pre-paid debit cards? Those are accepted by internet sites just like a credit card. Or maybe you have a trusted friend who will let you use their credit card.

If you absolutely can't figure out a way to get real life money turned into $L, you can always earn $L in game...you started another thread about that, and you'll find some helpful replies there. There have been lots of other threads on that topic, so do a forum search to find even more ideas.

You should adopt that picture and use it as your forum avatar, and in your Profile, and on the door of your house.

Thank you for the enlightening responce annna. I DO know its a game but i also know every L$ is made for REAL money something that does not happen in other GAMES. Now a L$ may not equal much but it is REAL money and as i said before you would not stand on a street corner in RL and ask strangers for REAL money , would you?

And Windswept was right, every single fuckin L$ you are asking for was PAID FOR by another user. So you are indeed asking for real monetary value, not just play money. But you know that very well, do you?
