Ok all you right wingers, can you pass this test? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13442226/This left wing, bleeding heart liberal scored 85% (I missed three). Notice what it says though about the real test. It's not multiple choice. Think you could pass this test if it wasn't? I don't think I would have. (The real test is given orally even!)

This "libbie" scored 100%, although I was not absolutely certain about the INS form question...I wouldn't have been able to name that one off of the top of my head. Then there was also the question regarding who has the power to declare war...somewhat of a trick question in this day and age. Luckily for me, the quiz still uses the true, Constitutional definition as opposed to the twisted definition in use now (and before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, by "now" I mean from the beginning of the Cold War through today).

Blimey, even I got 70%, and I just guessed several of them. I didn't even Google.
The "pilgrims" question is a bit dubious - did anyone here ask them?

I missed 1 - the voting rights amendment, but I guessed at the naturalization form.

I got them all. I need to though - I am taking the citizenship test this fall! I consider it the real life equivalent of getting a premium membership with voting rights

100% here. Like Freyre, I had to guess at the INS form, so I guess I lucked out on that one, but everything else was grade school social studies class level. No offense, fellow natural born citizens, but if you missed any of the other questions, go back to 5th grade for a couple days. Every 10-year-old should know this stuff.

60%. It would've been 65%, but that form, contrary to evidence on the ground, thinks the president doesn't have the power to declare war.

90%. Missed the voting amendment and the INS thing. I did remember that the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote. Thank you, Schoolhouse Rock.

85% here. A couple of the ones I got wrong were definite cause for "doh!"

Well, politically I range anywhere from left to right depending on the issue -- on the topic of capital punishment for certain crimes (such as rape, kidnapping, pedophilia), I'm somewhere to the right of Genghiz Khan -- on economic issues, I'm what Europeans would call a "social democrat", and on issues of religion, abortion, and marriage, I think it's up to the persons involved to choose, and no-one else's damn business. I scored an 85 -- I don't know which number goes to which freakin' amendment -- and I'm ADD -- I do great on MC tests but not so well on others.

Hardcore Lefty - 100%
I did feel not so fresh on the name of the INS form, so I picked the one that made the most sense.
Also, I am on a ton of pain medication right now, so I feel doubleplus good about this. knowledge must just be ingrained from high school civics.
It would be so awesome if we gave out these kind of questions during presidential debates.
(stealing link for my blog - thanks!)

80% - does this mean I have to move to the USA now? From: Alan Palmerstone ... It would be so awesome if we gave out these kind of questions during presidential debates. ...and now back to "Who wants to Be a President" with Regis Philbin...

95%.....
Did not know the correct INS Form #.... I guessed #200 vs. the correct #400.
Oh, BTW, New Zealand was not one of the original 13 States, as offered in that multiple choice. ;-p

Although I don't consider myself a "right winger" (yes, on more than a few issues I tend towards the right, but not to the extreme right), I managed a 90, dropping the ball on the first question (somehow I read "stars" instead of "stripes" and the 8th one, where I just plain old boned my amendment recollection.
