It's summer in SE Michigan, and that means tons of tiny fucking bugs flying all over me and my computer monitor.

As it's one of the light sources in the house, literally hundreds of gnats and other bugs fly to the screen and bounce all over it.

Is there any way to repel all bugs from my work area? It's pretty fucking aggravating to have tons of tiny flies flipping around your workspace.

I hate michigan.

we had that problem when we first bought this house... couldn't figure out how they were getting in, it appeares the lil bastards fit through the tiny wholes on the window screen... solution... close your windows =/

Yeah, close the windows and/or put up screens.

Once that's done bring out the raid and the bug zappers.

Last night I come home from work. I grab my coffee cup I had earlier. It still had coffee in it. Being the "not wasteful" type, I just poured in more coffee & popped it in the Microwave for 40 seconds. I take it & sit down in front of my computer, ready to relax.

THEN... as I lift the cup to take a swig, I notice something floating in it. A Dead Earwig!

I hope his microwave death was quite painful as he ruined my "relax after work" ritual.

Now that its raining here, I'll prolly see more of them as they love the dampness.
