People Eating Tasty Animals. I love bein at the top of the food chain, what can I say? The only thing better than meat, is getting 2 different types of meat and mixing them together with a meat based gravy cooked in bacon fat. Then wiping my face with a soft leather napkin. _____________________

I'm VEGAN plus fish and fowl. It's not about ethics... it's allergies. (I used to identify myself as more of an Hors'de Ourve-avore.) -- I'm sorry, is there pork or lard in this? Any butter, milk, cheese... yogurt? No... I'm not on a diet. Yes, I need to be certain. Could you ASK the chef please? Okay thank you. *munchmunch CRUNCH* Wait... are these BACON BITS? *AUGGGH!!* And my RL friends wonder why I don't go out to eat more often. |

I think you mis-understand me... I have to avoid dairy, eggs, honey... and things that typically make the difference between 'vegetarian' and 'vegan' But I CAN and DO eat fish and fowl. So yes, it's not 'vegan'. It's not 'picky' ... it's survival. |

No, really....)I didn't answer the poll because none really fit. Generally I eat a vegan diet, but I don't concider myself a vegan. I don't give a crap about the politics and ethics behind eating meat (or not) and in fact I think animals taste yummy. However, for health reasons I try to follow a vegan diet as much as I can since my body doesn't handle dairy and meat very well. If only icecream and steak weren't so yummy it'd be much easier. I have to admit that I think people who say they are vegetarians but eat chicken and fish are a bit loco. If you eat chicken and fish, say you eat a mostly vegetarian diet. Not that you are a vegetarian. Because silly gooses, chicken and fish aren't vegetables and it really just makes you look stupid. Although, hey if you think chicken is part of a vegetarian diet...then err....*shuts up* And ya know...I don't think "meat is murder" anymore than I think that pulling a carrot out of the ground is murder. We all eat food that at one point or another was alive. Despite the fact that I mostly eat like one, real vegans make me nuts. -Sun |
