Bleh, the name Zuzu was already taken on Thelanis, I'm going to look for a server where I can have my name. Edit: Created on Sarlona I have 2 characters on that server with the same names as above. I created those before the ones on Thelanis. So I've got the names I wanted on 2 servers.  _____________________

I imagine a non RP server is best for the wide audience of SL. Also anyone know if I can go out and buy this today? Is there a buy and download? A little unclear on this from the website. _____________________

From the site: If you have not yet preordered, there is still time to get in on the event and get bonus items and commemoration (but make sure to order from an online retailer (such as EBGames.com or Gamestop.com) that will be able to e-mail you a Head Start registration key before the Head Start Event ends). So I assume that means I can buy it today on EBGames.com, get a head start reg key and download the game today. Might have to try that later today. Yes, you should be able to - EBGames is will include you reg key in your receipt email. It's pretty painless (well except for downloading the client heh, that might take a little while). As far as the servers -- since Thelonis isn't an official RP server, RP won't be enforced. And from my brief time in DDO last night on Thelonis I didn't see much RPing. My hope is that by it being an unofficial server, the percentage of 'mature' players might be higher than normal. DDO is very different from WoW and even EQ. Solo play is possible, but much more difficult. There are traps that will kill you instantly, so unless you've got a rogue to spot and disarm traps... Certain areas in dungeons can only be accessed by someone with a high attribute (wisdom, strength, etc). So having a well-rounded group is the key to getting the most out of the experience. During beta I watched inexperienced, Diablo-style players run off on their own and repeatedly get clobbered. I'm up for playing on any server, but we should probably settle on one soon. WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS! |

I have characters named Nicola ir'Wynarn on both Thelonis and Sarlona. Should we plan for some dungeon delving? I have you, Luminye and Damani on my friends list. The nice thing about the friends list in DDO is every character you make on the same server has the same friends list, I guess that makes for better grouping. _____________________

actually you should have two codes you get from registering through turbine and where you got your preorder. You can start headstart now
