The point is, their not complaining about working, they are complaining about the new laws that will make people have some kind of criminal record for helping them out.

Isn't that fitting the definition of "aiding a fugitive" precisely?

I think illegal immegrants absolutely should fight to get in the US and get a better life. However, our government has an obligation to defend our borders. This is an invasion of millions of people. If everyone was "entitled" then we'd have probably 2 billion people living in squalor in the US.

I'm ashamed though that the Bush administration has kept a policy of not enforcing the immegration laws, especially not punishing businesses who hire illegals. The bottom line is that if businesses were punished, fined, and shut down because of this practice, there would be a whole lot less incentive for them to come, and a whole lot more incentive for them to fix the corrupt governments they come from, such as the Mexican one, known for turning their heads to gangs and organized crimes, and a history of corruption.

And I'm equally sick of people droning on about how "they're taking the jobs no one wants". If 12 million illegals weren't in this country in the first place, flooding the job market with ridiculous amounts of labor willing to work for piss-poor wages, then perhaps the wages might be higher, and Americans would be more than willing to do them.

I don't think you get it, you dont know how hard it is to leave a third world country, specially when your poor.

People had died in the borders or at sea trying to have a better life. They cant work they dont have a social, they cant apply for a citizenship, its their only choice.

A large number are paying others $2,000 a head to help them get across. They aren't exactly poor in mexico with that much cash on them. Sure there are those who try walking alone, but watch the video on TV, it's mostly people being driven across in vans and trucks.
