Not only can you get it in a handy shaker already grated to top spaghetti, but the fresh stuff tastes the best on top of a grilled steak salad or a caesar. Shame about the baby-barf smell though. My current addiction is kesari, though. Agrees wholeheartedly. I used to work at an Italian restaurant when I was a teen, and we would "make" our own Romano. We had full wheels of real Romano imported from Italy, which we would cut in chunks, and let dry. Then you keep repeating the process, unt the chunks are small enough to run them through a screen.
