Whaaa? No Watermelon aspect of it??! I've got to diversify, you know. (Altho I really have been looking for a nice watermelon syrup for a long time... I found watermelon spritzer perfume but that's not edible.) _____________________

Maple Syrup & Whipped butter on Buttermilk pancakes here... I've never, ever heard of 'Lemon Juice & Sugar' on pancakes??? How is this done? Is the Lemon Juice poured over the pancakes like syrup, or lightly sprinkled? Is the sugar powdered sugar or crystals? Are the pancakes of the Buttermilk variety, or we're talking potato pancakes here? Just curious - I want to give it a try This would presumably only work with the British variety of pancake, which is made from milk, baking power and flour. But for what it's worth, the lemon juice is sprinkled over the pancake, granulated sugar is added, and then it is folded over to serve. Ok! I've done a little research, but its a bit sketchy so correct me if I'm wrong..
BRITISH pancakes contain, mainly, eggs, flour and milk. The batter is runy, and forms a thin layer, so British pancakes and quite thin, but quite large. They are usually rolled up with a filling, either savory or sweet (Lemon and Sugar traditional) and eaten one at a time (usually ). From what I can work out, americans would call these crepes, as they are VERY similar to french crepes. .They look something like this..  Recipe AMERICAN/CANADIAN pancakes have different mesurements, of flour, egg and milk and almost always contain a raising agent (although british pancakes do sometimes). This makes a MUCH thicker batter, and therefore a smaller pancake. These resemble what some Brits might recognise as Scotch Pancakes or Drop Scones, in the U.S. these are known as "silver dollar pancakes". They are very often eaten for breakfast, with butter and maple syrup. US pancakes can also be referred to as hotcakes, griddlecakes, or flapjacks. They are usually eaten 3 or 4 at a time. Pancakes can also be referred to as hotcakes, griddlecakes, or flapjacks They look something like this from what I can tell.  (Replacing picture, MAN was that huge, took up my whole monitor! Recipe (I think) As for me, I can't currently eat pancakes, but when I could, Lemon and Sugar. Or Nutella, OR the Toffee Hagan Daaz ice cream  _____________________
