Firefly. I'm offended you left it out.

I figured I'd use BtVS as a sub for the mind of Joss Whedon in general. Don't think Joss would ever let one of his series be revived - but he might do another spinoff, and that's almost as good. :)

H.R. Puffinstuff!

Seriously though, I am going to go with ZuZu and say Twin Peaks, although there are many shows which I miss. One being The Undersea World of Jacques Yves Cousteau! Also have to go with Flavian on Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Thank goodness Nova is still around...

Pre-emptively - Weeds, and Monk.

From the poll I chose Mystery Science Theater 3000, but I am biased since it started on cable access in my home-town. MacGyver, even though he's also from my home-town, always drove me nuts. There's only so many times you can watch a guy trying to be overly serious while making bombs and shit out of chewing-gum.

AND - I want another Waltons or Grizzly Adams damn it!

Nothing like a coke-addled mountain man to start your weekend off right! And here us innocent kids thought that was snow on his beard! I guess we now know what "Old Number 7" really was!

'night Lizbeth.

*puts fingers in ears* la la la i disbelieve

Seriously, though, I'll never forget the nights my family gathered around the TV to watch ol' Papa Carl. For a girl growing up in an atheist family, it was as close to going to church as I ever got.

Cosmos was a great show. :)
I must have watched them all many times over.

H.R. Puffinstuff!

Ok, that show was just creepy. I used to have nightmares when I was a really little girl that H. R. Pufinstuff was coming up the driveway to my house. The really weird thing was....I only had that nightmare when I slept in the twin bed under the window in my bedroom. If I slept in my regular bed (the other twin bed in the room), no H.R. nightmares. Down with H.R. Pufinstuff! :D

The works of Sid & Marty Kroft were a complete turn-off to me, except for Land of the Lost. Sometimes, if you looked carefully, a pair of pliers would magically appear for a split second in the stop motion animated bits. :D

LOL Teeny! Didn't you know you were meant to see those pliers? Yeah, that's the ticket, those pliers were essential to the feel and ambiance of the scene.... :D

Without Buddy Farro on the list I had no reason to vote.

In addition to some of the shows mentioned above, I also miss Wonderfalls.

I think it's a toss-up between The (original) Twilight Zone and Night Gallery.
ooo i loved the night gallery. I used to visit the manhattan theme bar and reminisce. Remember Night Stalker? that was fun. and The Magician?
