Except that to a lot of forumers, Atheism seems to be a religion that they must proffess at any opportunity, stopping only to bash their established religion of choice (usually but not always Christianity)

Yeah, I'm sick of these athists. They should learn their place and stay out of normal people's lives. If they're really so unahppy about the way things are in the US why don't they all go back to Africa where they evolved from? **

I'd like to point out that in SL on Monday, somebody chastised me for "not being suddle". After conceding the point and explaining that I'm "too accertive", to which he agreed, I decided that suddle is my favorite word.

It's an opinion, same as any other, and it's no more out of place than someone else saying their religion (or lack of one) is best. It starts getting nasty when people start blaming them for all the evils ever committed.

LOL Zuzu... I was not making fun of you at all.

I miss the days of 'do overs' that my six year old son is enjoying right now, without the complexity of having to fix the origiinal. He and my three year old son were fighting with 'light sabres' (used paper towel roles), and the "wait, timeout, do over's" were flying around the house this morning. :)

What religion was the person who started the dinosaur thread? It sounded to me as if any religion she may have had wasn't detectable from her original post. Was she arguing for a religion with the question? It certainly seemed like a question to disprove religion, or disprove the Bible.

I'm not saying she is an atheist, or even an agnostic, it's just from her original post she seemed to be on the doubting side of the fence. Maybe her opinion was changed when all the Bible quotes suggesting dinosaurs existed in Bible times were posted.

That very well may be true, she came to the question as if the Bible believers can't answer it, because no one in her church could answer it. She was asking those who are well versed in evolution to answer it.

However, she did say she would look at the Bible data provided her to show dinosaurs were described in the Bible.
