I do know there are a lot of politics behind everything she stood for, I'm not really arguing that. And sheesh, anybody with a brain can make the pres uncomfortable. I really don't even know why he showed up, except as a reason to boost his ratings(which I doubt is gonna work). Like I said before, I just think a funeral is the wrong place for politics. That is MY OPINION, it may not be yours, and I'm ok with that. Also in my opinion, this whole thread is mostly opinion.

Uh, Mulch not sure where you get your information or that link about sodomy, but sodomy law, i.e. Bowers v. Hardwick from the 1980's was over-turned in 1999 in Lawrence v. Texas.

If you would do a little better research than google, you might find that the Bowers case regarding sodomy carried no penalties and the charges were dropped and it was said in the briefs on the case that had charges actually come to fruition the case would have been over-turned. Frist (senate majority leader from TN), Al Gore (TN), Newt Gingrich (GA), Jimmy Carter (GA), Tillie Fowler (FL - the highest ranking female in Congress - a GOPer no less - before her untimely death), etc...you might get a clue at to what part of the USA actually runs things on Capitol hill.
