From: prak Curie I have ranted about Apple of many paragraphs (although not yet here) because I hate Mac users. I could write volumes about the crap I have personally received over 20 years from PC users who jumped all down my throat about how Macs suck and they have a stupid gay one button mouse ad nauseum. The point is that there are loudmouths on both sides of the issue, and it varies from person to person. It's really lame to say "I hate Mac/PC users" because not all of everyone behaves any one way. This latest marketing from Apple is just that... marketing. Thousands upon thousands of companies in the world market their products by saying "Our product is better and outperforms Brand X." Big Freaking Deal. I swear, some of you act like Steve Jobs came to your house and killed your family. |

My question is: Why are the new IntelMacs the same price as the PowerPC models? I would think the PowerPC version would go down in price since the IntelMacs are already being sold.

Well it's all fine N dandy, but I'll keep my system for now (see specs below!  ). Till tax returns come in- then I might go with a Dual Core AMD. Depends if software starts taking advantage of it soon enough. However I'd love to try out Dell's lil' XPS 600 with the Quad SLI graphics cards. Running SL on it would be like shooting squirrels with a Canon.

Sure, but I just want to be able to rant in peace about how much I hate Apple. A power supply that really looks like a standard ATX one but with the wires all switched about is just annoying. Charging $300 to replace it is just icing.
