From: Alain Talamasca I am also picky about the pignoli I use. Funny. Do you know what "pignolo" also means in italian? From: Alain Talamasca To make the pesto, I use a Mexican molcajete I acquired while I was in So Cal. My Grandmother probably rolls over in her grave every time I use it, but the texture comes out much better, in my opinion. Meltin' pot, uh? Edit: Hey! I've just realized that Cristoforo Colombo was from Genova (where pesto was born), and he travelled to Central America...

From: Cartridge Partridge Funny. Do you know what "pignolo" also means in italian? ummm... no, but I can guess.. From: someone Meltin' pot, uh? I am a melting pot, but have no Hispanic heritage... I just love the food. Mostly I am Italian (On my Mother's side) and German (On my Father's side) THe Italian heritage is from Lombardy, Tuscany and Piedmont, and my bloodlines can be traced to both the Borgia and DiMedici families. (Try being saddled with THAT in gradeschool...) On the German side, My family is mostly Ritters and Bankers. There IS a little Polish admixture on my Father's Mother's side, and a Little Irish and Alsatian on my Father's Father's side. From: someone Edit: Hey! I've just realized that Cristoforo Colombo was from Genova (where pesto was born), and he travelled to Central America... THings that make you go "Hmmmm!"

From: someone Directions:

Note: These cookies will not look cooked when you first get them out of the oven they will crisp while they cool (but there nice all warm too).
