That's my point, perceptions are what matter. If she can reverse the image she has then she may have a shot, but its gonig to be an uphill battle since many have already made up their minds. Very few even looked at the health care plan, but again it's the perception of it (big government, socialism, etc..). I thought a lot of the ideas in the health care plan were good, but the marketing was poor and it solidified the image of Hillary as strongly liberal. I'd vote for her if she ran, but I don't think she would win.

If she came out with a strong plan to address the major issues: energy, health care, corruption, national debt, war on iraq/terrorism, etc. in the way that the Republicans did the Contract for America. If she took a moderate stance. And if she had some excellent marketing, I think she would have a good chance.

Many people have been bitten by health care in the Bush years, so their perceptions may have changed. Employer-based health care insurance isn't working for a vast number of people. And those that have it, see rising premiums and co-pays.

The Republicans have done themselves alot of damage. If the Democrats, or anyone can pull together an intelligent, moderate plan... and sell it effectively, then they would have an excellent chance of winning the White House.

Let's see what happens at the mid-terms. I belief we're ready for some moderate politicians instead of far-left, far-right.

We were 'Osama's Bitches' on 9/11 precisely because there was a Republican in the White House on 9/10.

How so?

Osama rose to power under the Clinton Administration.

Ahh, I've 'arrived.' This 'Briana,' whoever she is and whatever she matters, brings her magnificent intellect to bear on a post of mine. Woohoo!

'Rose to power,' what a load of horsesh*t. Hahaha!
* Osama 'left a mess in his diapers that had his wetnurse swearing never again to feed him dates' under the Johnson administration.
* Osama 'made a face like a pufferfish and made his cousin cry' under the Nixon administration.
* Osama 'listened to some Black Oak Arkansas while playing air guitar and daydreamed of groping a groupie' under the Ford administration.
* Osama 'stubbed his toe and issued a string of epithets that quite shocked him' under the Carter administration.
* Osama 'went and got a milkshake for 95 cents' under the Reagan administration.
* Osama 'discovered he had headlice' under the Bush I administration.

But he 'rose to attack the US,' no matter how little wingers want to admit it, only under the Bush II administration. That is to say, under the not-so-diligent watch of a president whose eyes, according to voluminous testimony by those who were there, were completely off the ball.

Presidents role is to read speaches, and take breathbreaks when the speach says so. The thing you vote is the thing you buy. 9/11 was not an error, it was a total success for the buyers ;) i'm laughing but it realy ain't funny, it's worth to cry about such policies.

Look at Jon Stewards at comedy central and you realy don't need to look at cnn and mainstream media again.

My two cents:

"Dictatorship naturally arises out of democracy, and the most aggravated form of tyranny and slavery out of the most extreme liberty." - Plato

"If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." - Bush

Noshit Bush, it'd save the lives of many people during 9/11. :(

In the end the truth finds it's own way around deception even if it's got to be through comedy.

Ok, now we know Andy gets all his news from Jon Stewart.

Additionally, I'd like a little clarification on your statement:

I'm not going to disagree that any of the things you describe actually happened to Osama, but I wonder where you would place the following:
1. The First World Trade Center Bombing 1993
2. Mogadishu in 1993
3. Khobar Towers in 1996
4. Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998
5. A fatwa to kill Americans and their Allies - 1998
6. USS Cole bombing in 2000

Just wondering how you ignore these facts

Champie, you sound like you got something to hide, something you don't like people to know. And keep asking foolish questions. We all will be judged, i prefer to engage in discussions, even if i sometime criticize my own decisions in order to test wether i'm on track of truth or deception. People like you seek work at administrative positions ;)

So ok, i'm now gonna not engage in ANY furhter discussions, because it's propably against, copy-paster rules.

Champie, we have a president that hardly can construct a sentence at the same time trigger wars with half middle east at the same time. And Secretary of Defence that can't make account for $2,6 Trillion.

I don't know much, but i don't see Rumsfeld and Bush to be remembered as heros, thats as little as i learned from history lessons.

Andy, I have no problem with what you are saying, but I feel that we are so opposed to each others point of view, that I think it may be best if we don't engage each other.

I'm happy to have you as a participant in this thread. In no way to I desire to silence your views. I just don't think we should have a discussion with each other.

All i was trying to do was to be open minded, but ok. I guess the best desciption of the difference in our point of view's is: http://play.rbn.com/?url=demnow/demnow/demand/2005/dec/video/dnB20051223a.rm&proto=rtsp&start=6:55
or link to the broadcaster website http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=05/12/23/1450216&mode=thread&tid=25

However that is a funny conversation, and abit off topic.

Honestly Andy, I really can't understand what you are saying. I imagine that someone understands what you are saying, so I hope they get some benefit from your posts. I don't.

Also, please don't IM me in-game again with comments about this discussion.

Right.

Because "Dubbya" is a stupid monkey.

Except when he's an evil mastermind.

But then he's a stupid monkey again.

Until he's an evil mastermind again.

:P Oh tisk tisk... Don't insult Monkies intelligence.... Bush WISHES he was as smart as a monkey :D
