You're six people now? I think Garoad was talking about the poll.

Actually, I'm seven people and one dog.
I'll cheerfully retract my comment, however. I didnt actually look at the poll statistics at the time.

I am myself indifferent honest; but yet I could accuse me of such things that it were better my mother had not borne me: I am very proud, revengeful, ambitious, with more offenses at my beck than I have thoughts to put them in, imagination to give them shape, or time to act them in. What should such fellows as I do crawling between earth and heaven? We are arrant knaves, all; believe none of us.

Considering I did no such thing, I don't see how I can support it. Boy howdy you got me there, I can't support something I in no way even implied! Ahem Is killing innocent Iraqi's murder? Depends which side of the war your on In short, no, I don't believe war counts as "murder" in the strictest sense. I'm not excusing it, I just don't think its the same thing.just because your "freedom loving" government commits or orders the commission of murder does not make it something else other than murder ... and btw, only the congress has the power to declare war. when was the last time they did so and what does your answer have to do with the question? Because a war is a war between soldiers, in which innocents die, rather than a case of an innocent being a deliberate target. You're not going to get anything more incriminating out of me on that and btw, only the congress has the power to declare war. when was the last time they did so and what does your answer have to do with the question? I'll bite and answer your question however. The last formally declared "war" was in 42. Your validation of murder is war. While your validation, to some, may justify the killing of Germans, Japanese, and their helpers in WW2, it has 100% nothing to do with the innocent Iraqi referenced in the OP. ...stop putting words in my mouth. well then support your justification of killing innocent Iraqis with another reason besides a 1942 declaration of war!!!! Why is it you want me to explain everything to you? Can't you do your own homework? I am still waiting for your logical justification of killing innocent Iraqis Gonna ignore your other respsonses because you danced around and gave non answers, hence I will give up my pointless, fruitless attempt to understand how you can reconcile the contradictions brought up. I'd love to see an example of your work. That might compromise my secret identity unless you have a very high disposable income for luxury items, you probably wouldn't find me anyway _____________________
I have of late--but wherefore I know not--lost all my mirth, that this goodly frame, the earth, seems to me a sterile promontory, this most excellent canopy, the air, look you, this brave o'erhanging firmament, this majestical roof fretted with golden fire, why, it appears no other thing to me than a foul and pestilent congregation of vapours.

Ahem I am still waiting for your logical justification of killing innocent Iraqis For the last time, I'm not justifying killing innocent people. You are the one saying I am, not me. I'm saying I don't consider it murder. That's not the same thing as justifying it, or thinking its ok. Helps, by the way, if you don't drop the last half of my fourth quote, where I list a military action being declared in '02. Gonna ignore your other respsonses because you danced around and gave non answers, hence I will give up my pointless, fruitless attempt to understand how you can reconcile the contradictions brought up. I debated not answering them at all, because they aren't really related to this thread. That might compromise my secret identity unless you have a very high disposable income for luxury items, you probably wouldn't find me anyway Depends on the luxury item Probably not, I'm sorta a poor college student at the moment, but I'm always curious._____________________

You really need to include an "Other (post below)" option on your poll. I personally believe that aborting a fetus after the first trimester is wrong, and therefore, if I was a woman, I would not do that. However, I do not impose my beliefs on other people, which is why I am pro-choice. Unfortunately, your poll simply states "abortion is murder" without inciting any further explanation.
I am also anti-capital punishment/death-penalty because I believe when a person dies should not be determined by the government. ==Chris _____________________
