My company actually does pretty good for bonus time - normally 2 weeks pay depending on the year we had ( too bad they do it legit and uncle sam gets a nice chunk of it ) plus some chocolates , imported pistacios (sp?) bottle of Absolute vodka and Chivas Regal ( yuck ! can we say regift ) only bummer is they give it to you Christmas eve so you never know what your getting and it can a mad dash to the mall xmas eve for all the big things you put off.

End of year is "incentive pay" time at the bank. Although I was hired in my current position after the deadline for participation in this year's bonus pool, my boss was good enough to structure an end-of-year "signing bonus" into my compensation package, allowing me to share in the season's joy. Plus, they throw a kickin' Christmas...uh....Holiday party. Great meal, live band, open bar. I definitely don't mind putting in the hours when they show their appreciation in a tangible way.

What is a Xmas bonus. I lose money on the holiday. We are contracted to GM and take the same shut down days as they do. This year it will be a week off with out pay Don't worry about the GM people they get 98% of thier pay Rox

From: Satchmo Prototype ROFL... that story made my day. The next year was worse. I got a 15 pound frozen turkey. Just what an 18 year old kid living by himself in an apartment needs. I donated it to a homeless shelter. At least the $2 the year before almost bought me a pack of smokes.
