Im so sick of people spouting off about "jus nuke em ya'll" type of attitude's I am not against extreme force for the safety of our men an women (of the world not just US), remember the Chernobyl Accident an all the fallout when you say nuke em' people...

I blame the pathetic UN. If they actually had teeth and the authority to say 'Enough is enough' and enforce it, we'd see a lot less of this "Might makes right" approach.
The UN should be an independent body that does not have to have the consent of the conflicting parties concerned to enter territories and mediate a peace deal.
In a conflict as complicated and as bloody as the one we are witnessing, the only thing that either side understands is force. Peace talks mean nothing to the bereaved or indoctrinated.
The UN should be allowed to intervene to prevent the massacre of civilians on both sides.
As it stands, nobody respects them. Why bother spending millions on a peacekeeping force that can't keep the peace. The money would be better spent on delivering medical supplies and food to affected areas.

In the Korea case, yes. But still a long way from a settled peace. Mebbe some day the North Koreans will stop being so paranoid and isolationist, chill out a bit and join the rest of the world.

Those scumbags should release the prisoners, DISBAND their militias, the real Lebanese army should control the border, and they should stop firing missiles at Israel. It's that simple-- those are Israel's demands-- quite reasonable.
