From: Enabran Templar Having spent my first five years of life in New York, I was always enamored of the New York-style crust. Those Chicago bitches, I thought, were full of crap. But having sampled their delightful fare, I must say, Chicago-style deep-dish pizza is the best pizza. It's not right to compare New York to Chicago, though, since the former is portable and snacky while the latter is a sit-down meal you need to savor. Still, one is the king. There was a place in the Mission District of San Francisco called Papa Padrone's, many years ago when I visited with some friends, that had the best pizza we've ever had. You could buy the whole pie, or get it by the slice, which turned out to be about 1/4th of the pie anyway. The pizza just tasted... fresh. Fresh dough, fresh sauce, fresh mozerella, fresh irregularly cut toppings. Nothing about it mass-produced at all, that we could tell. Here in Vegas, there's a place called Montisannos (I've probably spelled it wrong) that just tastes... Italian. Their stuffed pizza, done thick as a fruit pie between 2 crusts, and stuffed with ham, cheese, sauce, and whatever else you choose, with fresh herbs, it so beyond any normal pizza, it's well worth the 20+ bucks apiece for a 9" pie. I probably couldn't tell the difference between New York or Chicago pizza, having always lived on the West coast, but I could pick these two pizzas out of a line-up, blindfolded. Anyone in the area, go get them!

Pork sausage and pineapple.
I also dig that new cheese-bite-crust they do at Pizzahut.

From: Siobhan OFlynn And the Immodium AD Naah... never had that problem. Although ordering that particular combination with extra cheese and light sauce does tend to create some other gastric special effects ... "Hey! Who cut the camembert?"

From: Gabe Lippmann I prefer that special little rectangle of school cafeteria pizza from back in the day...with extra grease. Oh..tht was good stuff! And you never knew what suprises awaited deep within it's cheesy goodness. I remember coming across green beans and other less identifiable things. But it was yummy!
