Here, Kendra, here's you a rocket launcher.
Here, Kiamat, here's one for you, too.
Alrighty then. Who's gonna shoot first?
Or, preferably: Jeez, Kia: Kendra says she supports the troops. And you're all like, "Oh no you DON'T, Kendra!" While I humbly suggest that if Kendra says she supports the troops, then she supports the troops. Why esle would she say it? Because it's COOL to support the troops, and our Kendra is just some kinda poser, trying desperately to seem like she's down with all the hip, flag-waving, gimme-cap-wearing, troop-supporting kids?
If Ms. Bancroft doesn't support the Bush administration, it doesn't mean that, therefore, she doesn't support the troops, you know?
She --- we all --- can do one without doing the other, you know?
I mean, it is possible, you know?
In this argument --- in this thread --- right here --- Kiamat? I would wonder who's being more dismissive and more aggressive and more concerned with the hobgoblins of their mind, and I would wonder about the reasons for that.
I *would* wonder, yes --- but I haven't the time.
Perhaps *you* have the time? Perhaps you could *take* the time?
And just, goddamnit, chill.

From: Kendra Bancroft How do they feel now? Any data? -Only the data I have from talking to all the ones I work with every day, the vast majority of whom still support Bush and the war.link? http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2001/5/8/225831.shtml http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2000/11/19/202707.shtml I'm not convinced of your premise that the majority of the troops support Bush. -You're also not convinced that Socialism is a bad thing. So what? Go to any military base and count up the Bush stickers versus the Kerry ones. Informal I know, but it'll give you a good idea.
Then you weren't paying attention. I argued often that it was unfair for troops being scapegoated for carrying out orders coming from the top. Broken up over a simple-minded girl caught in a situation out of her control and way over her head? Yes. I am. -Now she's simple minded. More support for the troops. What did you suppose I meant when I said OUR troops.? I have no mask, darlin'. As a matter of fact, I started protesting the War in Kosovo when Bush senior started it and continued throughout Clinton's time there. I'm not married to a political party, dear. I have actual integrity and values. -Got a link for that?-Kiamat Dusk

From: someone -Now she's simple minded. More support for the troops. Lynndie --yah --simple-minded. Did you see her interview? What does the comment about one troop have to do with my support of the troops? What did you suppose I meant when I said OUR troops.? I have no mask, darlin'.
