Today I went home and made my lunch. I had some left over filets from a succesful fishing trip 2 nights ago.

Fish Tacos - Sauteed snapper, home made pico de gallo, shredded cheese, topped with chopped green onion, all stuffed into flour tortillas.

Ice cold Corona w/ a wedge of lime.

Life is good.
:D

"Pucker" steak, Parmesean breaded califlower, fresh spinach & mushrooms salad w/buttermilk ranch dressing, water for beverage and TIRAMISU cake for dessert!

(belated b-day meal at my sisters, oh, "pucker" steak is a marinated skirt steak, grilled, gloglgogloooaaaauguughhh-inducing like Homer in a beer-donut factory, I named it when I was about 5, cause it makes you smack yer lips!)

/has a very happy tummy/palate today! :D

I'm not bad for you!
My lunch was a rather simple soup... dont know the name of the vegetable in it.It's "Agriao" in portuguese and "Canonigos" in spanish. Google couldn't translate it but after extensive googling I found that it's probably "watercress" in english :P
And some apple pie for dessert.

Trying to amuse yourself is one thing, but you could have created a whole new lunch thread.

Now we have to discuss necro-p again. Most egregious.

Watercress soup sounds dreadful.

For breakfast I had a sandwich: Jewish Rye filled with caramelized onions, fake goose (mainly wheat protein flavored with five spice, thank god for bored Buddhist monks), broccoli, water chestnuts, bamboo, pea pods, celery, and brown mochi. I topped that off with an aspirin (caramelized onions take a lot of olive oil to make).

For lunch I'm considering some nuts and dried fruit.

*shrug*
Maybe I got the name wrong but we eat it all the time.
The little plant thingies already come chopped up in pretty packages... they're also used for salad, albeit infrequently.

Hrm. Let me ask my girlfriend what "Agriao" is in English.

Yep. She said it's watercress. She said she's been eating watercress soup since she was a little kid and that it is good.

Know what I'll never eat again? Watercress.

When I was 17, I tried to make a salad out of it and that was the end of my Watercress days.
