You must not be familiar with the controls. I find the camera movement in WoW to be more intuitive and easy to use. You can do it all with the mouse, if you need some help let me know. What did you guys "raid" Elwynn Forest?

Hey Eboni! Yeah I am still getting used to the camera controls and CNTRL+ALT and mouse sorta works like SL. However when 8 of us were lined up like in the pic I had a hard time fitting us all in the shot or getting close up or like moving the view down. :D

We raided Firerage Chasm. Which while technically still a raid because we set it up that way, I am hearing that raid to most people is like going over to the Alliance side and kicking their butt.

The FIH is now up to over 46 members! Woot! I have to say the level of comradery has been great. Everyone is so much fun to chat or party with. We are always asking "who needs what" or sending and trading supplies. It is a great group.

WoW is down. :( But the good new is they are doing a patch that will include "holiday theming" of the capitol cities I think. The Feast of the Winter Veil! WOOT. Can't wait to see it and the new quests it says it will have along with it.

And I must say, it's the best group of people I've ever played any MMORPG with.

I have to agree with you. I was playing by myself and it was good. But the FIH adds a whole new dimension. We should do some kind of in-World meetup.

From: ReallyRick Metropolitan
Just a cute pic to share with everyone. We went on our first official FIH raid. Roar! FYI, WoW sucks when it comes to letting you move your camera to get a good screenshot.

I think he is referring to zooming in close. The only way I can get in close is if I have Prilfire stand face a wall and then use the alt mouse down movement to get in front of her.

Eboni, do you know a better way?

The most successful software company in the world does a piss-poor job on all these points. Particularly the first three. Why do you expect Linden Labs to do any better?
Yes, it's true, I have a blog now!

ulrika, i'm probably one of the few people that like most of your posts, and think people tend to look for an excuse to fight with you. i respect women that speak their mind, even if it's not agreed with. however, you basically attacked us with your first post. so any defensiveness on our part was in direct response to that. it's hardly the equivalent to a cult or scientology.
I agree that there are many who harbor resentment and lurk in wait for a mistep so they have a justification for unleashing their rage. The shame here is that it was over a misunderstanding that this was a parody and not a troop of actual WoW players. We all make mistakes. For instance, you yourself have made a similar error by stating that I attacked the group, when in fact I was attacking what I thought was yet another lame FIC-inspired parody. In a forum misunderstandings are common and it's important to give folks the benefit of the doubt.

From: someone
you are free to dislike the name, and disagree with whatever you'd like. but sometimes it's good to remember that some things are just meant to be silly and fun, not taken so seriously.
Again, had I any idea that I was unlocking the gates of hell, I would have never made that post. I appreciate folks wanting to have fun and I support fully, even if they want to continously, over and over, without rest, use that tired FIC acronym to death. It's feted inner fine with me.

Ha ha. I definitely got the horns in this thread. Sometimes you kick, sometimes you get kicked. ;)

I bet the FIH is an awesome force to reckon with on the battlefield.

Blizzard has a character transfer service, but I don't know much about it. It's only available for a few servers, I do know that.

To my knowledge they are only allowing it on overpopulated servers to specific underpopulated ones. I do not think our server is one of them.

Part of the idea is for us all to start over and level together. I have a level 40 hunter I like that I left behind as I am sure almost everyone has a high level character they left behind too.

So much for that apology. And to think I was about to commend you for doing so. I will save my breath since you continue to justify what you did instead of simply saying I am sorry and leaving it at that.

Oh, and since when have you EVER given ANYONE the benefit of doubt?

Blah blah blah. More banal negativity from Billy. I think the conflict surrounding my misunderstanding has run its course. I've apologized, others have moved on with the discussion, and Jeska edited out the personal attack at the beginning. So instead of taking your own thread further off topic, why don't you either drop it or address any personal problems you might have with me directly by email?

How would one find the FIH once they get in?

Is an over an hour wait to get on Lightninghoof normal?

Yawns... did you say something new?

Blah blah blah indeed... practice what you preach. I don't see you emailing me with your issues yet you seem to think I have to do so with you.

I am cureous though your inability to simply apologize and move on. Why is it that someone who I consider well educated and inteligent can't simply apologize when she is wrong, walk away and let it die unless you are simply looking for more drama? Why is it that you feel the need to continually justify your statements?

btw I have no personal issue with you, as a matter of fact you couldn't be less important to me and I couldn't care less. I do however enjoy pointing it out when you display your usual behavior in these forums and watching you self destruct.

Please PM me your email address immediately. I'm very interested in sparing others this school-yard conflict and would instead like to address you personally.

lafs... that's funny... do you not know how to use the PM system here? In case you have any doubt… I don’t take orders from the likes of you. Take your bullying tactics elsewhere.

"Cureous" gives you an opportunity do display your drama seeking pettiness for all to see. That is kinda pathetic of you.

My email address is Ulrika.Zugzwang@Gmail.COM. In the event you don't feel comfortable to email me (I know I can be intimidating), I will send you a PM in the next sixty seconds as well. My guess is that your continued posts are less about seeking justice for the FIH and more about public grandstanding. I guess whether or not your reply to the PM will determine that. :)

Just a reminder to everyone, in the game itself, the Feted Inner Horde has NO drama

it's hard to tell from this thread, but this thread is under the jurisdiction of the SL forums and as such suffers from the usual "exploits"

in WoW itself, everyone gets along =)
