Constant Building Lag regardless of the Sim

Hi,
I returned to SL this week after a long absence. Now whenever I am building something, I experience high lag no matter what sim I am in. For example, I create an object, and it takes about 3-4 seconds. I move it left, it moves left, then moves back into place.. I have o move it about 2-4 times in orer to get it to stick. It's the same for textures, rotating, cloning, ect- I usually have to do it 2-4 times before it decides to let me... it's very frustrating. I remember this happening once or twice in the past, but not always, like this. There's only a few times this problem does not occur.

I've tried clearing my cache in SL and opening a port on my router, but it did not change anything.

Has anyone else heard of this problem?

EDIT: if I can not fin the answer, does anyone know the email address of SL's support team? I can't seem to find it.

Welcome back Derekhhh! Unfortunately, you came back during a week of asset server instability - worst it's been in quite some time.
