I can't log in and a bunch of people I was talking to on the preview grid were having the same problem.

I had signed off early and can't get back in. A friend who never signed off (since earlier today) didn't get booted, and is still on.

Now second life is crashing every time I try to log in

Hey guys. I still can't seem to get logged in to SL. Just says "loggin. Second Life May Appear Frozen. Please wait." But never moves past this point. I see others have had this problem earlier today, but I am wondering if this is an SL problem or if there is something I can do to fix so I can get logged-in? Thanks!!

up until 2 mins ago id been fine, logged in and out a coulpe of times over the last 8 hours play but now i cant get back in, many have said they have had trouble today, i think its just the sl login servers are having problems tbh, im sure they will have back to normal soon.

Yesturday it started actting up and freezeing. I'd have to re-log alot from it frrezeing. Then it finally had a time I couldn't get logged back in. I still can't log in.

I'm only posting because I know on some games I've played, it was helpful to find problem areas by haveing people speak up. They could find things in common or where they were all gathered together or something.

Okay, I didn't connect the two, but last night our sim (Pierce) went down, then again today. Last night I assumed it was because someone was on the rollercoaster wearing an AO, which has been known to crash the sim. Today, nobody on the coaster, only 4 pple in the sim...sim went down at 5:30, I tried logging in again, did not work. Four hours later, still not logging in and I'm on a different computer and different network. Have uninstalled, reinstalled the client, and my drivers did not need updating. Now to find out others having same problems...whew! Hope this helps if anyone can analyze what's going on...

Okay, guess the problem is fixed (temporarily?). I just logged in

I can't log in now either. Was in and playing just fine, logged out, and now bam. Stuck at login.

I reinstalled the client, and my internet is working fine. It must be the SL login server acting up.

I also reinstalled the client thinking i was me.

Still can't log in :/

Couldn't log in on my first attempt now I just let it sit and eventually after about two minutes I can log in. Had to log out because I couldn't teleport... tried it again... waited...read some email and was able to get back in. Doesn't seem to be us.. seems to be the servers.

Cant log in either. Stuck at the "may appear frozen" note.

but I can't teleport

Not sure what's going on. The uninstall, reinstall seemed to resolve the log in thing, but not being able to teleport makes it seem like 1.6.4/5/6/7/8/9...heh. Good luck everyone.

I'm having the same problem right now once it got to connection to region after a while but its not logging in on any of my accounts. I tried reinstalling and everything the support site suggests but no luck.

I'm able to get in, but all evening whenever I've had to relog it takes 5-10 minutes to get through login...

Looks like things are getting back to normal. We'll keep an eye on the grid in case things slow down again.

I was so relieved to see this post. I thought it was me.... I was checking router, resintalling client, restarting computer like crazy.... /whew
At least I can relax now and practice my patience
