From: Day Oh You said you can log in, but everything is gray, right?
Does that mean you can see objects, but not the textures on them?
Or no objects? And can you see your avatar?
Or just the sky and nothing else? Well its different every single time. Pretty much when I try to login I have 0 Bandwidth.

Try turning off your router at the mains for 15-20 seconds, then plug it back in and let it initalise. This will refresh your connection. It's a known fact and advised by the vast majority of ISP's, that you periodically do that.
I don't know what system/setup you are using, but if you are low on memory, you may suffer greater memory leak times.

This may be way off the mark BUT, there have been a lot of instances, in the UK at least, of ISP's limiting available BW. I know of three people who have been shut-out of SL due to their ISP's action. They classed SL as 'Not fair usage'. Since these people swopped ISP's their problems have stopped. As will all things you get what you pay for I guess.

As will all things you get what you pay for I guess. That is a valid point, especially if you are with Virgin. So many BB providers quote 'Unlimited Access' you have the 'Fair Usage' clause actually limiting your downloads etc and then capping your connection. Its the same with Interleaving nodes. Stating that you now have 20mb connection, can simply mean that with a contention ratio of 50:1 at 2mb, you now have a ratio of 500:1 at 20mb by layering the bandwith over 10 nodes. Recently, I spammed BT with test results and played havoc with their 'techie' department, whereby they 'de-interleaved' my connection. I now get a solid 5-7mb data flow whereas previously I was struggling to get 300kbps. They won't do that for everyone, only those that can prove they actually need it, or if you know how to complain in the right techie language.

I actually I have Time Warner Cable. And that would make a lot of sense if they are limiting me like that. Because at one point, I was able to play SL with hardly any hassles.
And Time Warner Cable is known for being a horrible cable company. >.< So that may be my problem... I can't wait til I move....
