My SL account doesn't work with my computer! Help me!

I am a basic member... and something wierd has happened. I've been coming here posting for help! And not getting anywhere.
I reformatted my computer thinking it was my fault why I couldn't login onto my SL account. Well I made a new account and I can login just fine.
I can login onto my Main account on another computer on my network just fine.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

Any error messages at all? Any symptoms? Did you do something like switch out a video card or some other hardware? Do you have the latest drivers or did you recently update a driver? We need more information as there could be a gazillion reasons for this.

I haven't replaced my graphics card, the drivers have been updated. Like I said... This account will not let me login on my computer. Although, I made a new account... and I can login on my computer.
It's like something is wrong with my main account.
Yes, I have the right password.
This is what happens...
Login name and password> connect> goes through the login process > then it doesn't completely load like things will be gray, as if Im not connected to the network.
If my connection was bad, then how would I be able to sign in just fine with another account?
It's almost as if it's something wrong with my character on SL side.

Well thanks for the advice, but I've already done all that already. I have yet to find any answer to my problem.
I mean not only can I not play on my computer, but Im finding that I can't play this account on the one computer that was working after it stopped playing on my computer.
So I made a new account, and it's happening again! Just the day before xmas eve, I was playing on my second account and the same happened all over again. I can't play on my computer but I can play on another computer. Which I'm going to assume that the same thing will happen as before, it will stop working.

If you can use your account(s) on another system, then it points to not a SL issue, but issolated to your system. As you have reformatted the HD and reinstalled the OS, then I would suggest something (a file etc) is missing.
GC drivers would be my first guess. .NET Framework - to low a version (it's upto version 3, or 3.5 beta).
There maybe other drivers and or DLL's etc that you have not reinstalled after the reformatting.

The weird thing is though that even though I was able to play Rosalani on another computer. It didn't last long... same thing happened with the other computer as it did mine. But the night I did a reformat, I made a new account. This one... and then I was able to play, no problem.... and now again with what happened to Rosalani is happening to this account. if it was a problem with my computer as you say... why would it do that?

You need to call Linden Labs, they have the ability to block an IP address....(i know sounds nuts, but its true!) Anyway, you need to call them, becaus if you can logg that account into other computers, and logg in your new account on the faulty computer, to ME, seems they have blocked you....
Call them, doesnt matter if your account is basic, they'll work with you...

As I said, its system relevant, if the IP is being blocked, you can overcome that by resetting your router.

Problem withthis issues is it canbe so many issues. From ISP, LLABS servers, Fire wall, etc etc etc. Or even IP banned. You just don`t know.

Ok so I've used Hide my IP and used a completely different IP and it still didn't work. I just turn off my Firewall whenever I try to play SL anyways. Not smart but its a bunch of BS I hate dealing with.
Honestly I don't think its LLabs Servers either...
Which I'll be moving within this month. I Guess that I'll find out if its my ISP or just my decently new computer being retarded. >.<
