I can log in, however everything seems to be unavailable, or slow, or not working correctly. Dont feel bad people, your not missing anything...
Search is unavailable. Lag is beyond irritating. Map and region searching is messed up. My L$ Balance is not showing up - Its basically a big mess.

The Patch that Kills

I installed the patch and now Second Life is no longer on my machine - even the icons are gone?? All that is left are some html boomarks (my account, etc,)

I just uninstalled and re-intalled and my desktop gained 3 more SL client icons.
There is some good news however, some problems were fixed for me. So try uninstalling completely and reinstalling everything, it might work. Just because you got patched doesnt mean that everything in the update got installed onto your computer. I found that doing that makes alot of the problems that I am experiencing go away.

I am attempting my second download of the reinstall at a whopping 21.6KB/sec (the first one was corrupt) . I've literally trying been trying to get back on SL for over an hour and so far it is just amounting to waiting - when I started today, at least SL was on my machine. This roll-out was poorly managed. |

having a problem logging on

I click on connect and the progam almost completes loading then the second life crash logger kicks in and the program aborts any ideas what the problem is ?

From: Zuri Simca I'm having the same issue, I get a "Not Respinding" and then white screen everytime I try to sign on. evreytime I try to log in I get sl not responding and a black screen, this has only been an issue since I downloaded the updater/ |
