I cant sign on, is anyone else having this problem?

I know that it says its online but it just wont sign in .
Someone please tell me if you have the same problem or maybe suggesting something to help.

Same here. And after trying a few times, I get a Not Responding and the screen turns white :/.

just keep trying, the grid is online but lots of people are trying to log on and the servers can't take it...x

I dont know but do you have an alienware computer? Maybe that has an effect, just a thought, unlikely but still.

I'm having the same issue, I get a "Not Respinding" and then white screen everytime I try to sign on.

Well, my SL hasn't crashed yet, but I'm still getting a nice variety of login failed messages. Everything from my clock not being set right, towards the "Ooops" message.

*sighs and kicks the LL database servers. C'mon! Keep up with the load or be replaced!!*

I cant even get SL to work after having the patch not being able to install two files.

i see the amount of people gettin in is growing but i still keep crashin everytime i try

im having the same prob...as soon as i go to login it stops responding and crashes or i get a error message that its experienced a unexpected problem...as soon as i lower the sl window the whole thing crashes

I have had enough of this crappy server thing, its time for LL to wake up and get better servers, which by the way will be cheaper for them in the long run becasue they take up less power, I think they dont realize or just dont have the capacity in their minds TO REALIZE this, so now LL i pleade to you to wake up and for the millionth time GET BETTER SERVERS BEFORE WE ALL BLOW UP!!!!!!!

Only my second day in SL and I'm starting to tink I've wasted my money on this! Can't get ion no matter how many times I try, keeps crashing. If you read this and have the same problem POST here so that they can do somthing about it!!!!

Same problem, I can't get to log on. The servers on these sites is crappy. Everyting is going slow.

well nearly half past midnight and eventually I managed to log on once since update but was totally invisible so could not right click myself or do much - i had 0 lindens as well lol and no upload image option , so i relogged and guess what? cant get in LOL love the - something unexpected has gone wrong Lindens - can we change that to something expected has gone wrong?

hahaha new message now apparently i cant log on cos my computers clock is set incorrectly got to laugh

GRRR, says online, i hit the lovely connect button, i get in then 2 minutes later, i crash out again, this has happened loads to me, and cant stay in sl for longer than 2mins at a time please someone tell us wot the hell is going on, and when will this is issue be fixed.

Thor, afraid tou picked a baaaad time to start your second life. Update days are always bad but this one is a doozie! My advice is to let things cool off for a couple of days. Things should have improved by then (ever the optimist). Don't give up on SL though, you're gonna love it!

I keep getting a hang up on Waiting For Region Handshake,
and then it doesn't log in,
the lindens must be profiting an excessive amount, why do games with horrible developers like star wars galaxies not have these problems, but a game that is making tons more money have constant issues,
if it is a beta, why charge?

i think people should lossen up abit and stop whining, the problems during todays patch are NOT that great a disaster, atlest here in SL you get a running update on whats happening if you read the update notes here i even be so kind as to link it for you http://blog.secondlife.com/2006/11/30/the-morning-after/

personaly i ratther suffer bug fixing and alittle instability over lack of comunication(Blizzard and WOW) or the arogance and ignoring the community( SOE and all they Online games).
atlest here we get a running news update about whats going on and that they are working on it,, so fare i counted about 4houts after Sl went up to most of the patch bugs were sorted out again. So i personaly gives All the people who worked on fixing thes bugs four out of five thumps turned UP!..

KEEP up the good job people not everyone are whinning and complaing,, we are people who think your during a wonderfull and great job under most stressing times!!

I get the message that the userserver.agni.lindenlab.com is unavailable? I ping it and it responds...I DO have internet connection...HIGH SPEED even...wtf? I've been sick and not logged in since installing the update...tried today with no luck.
First time ever that I've had a problem after an update. Now I know how it feels. It's about 5% annoying and I can stand a 5.

I downloaded the update from the download page, then I uninstalled sl from my pc. I rebooted completely then installed sl. I'm in. Try it? Good luck!
