No assumption there, I simply believed what you said. Reading about a child having to go without necessities (which is what you told us) alarmed me a great deal. It alarmed me enough to care and respond. I am truly relieved to find out you had apparently exaggerated the extend of your problem. From: someone my daughter has NEVER gone without - and if my mother werent critically ill i could probably afford to work and live a luxurious life... but id rather stay home and care for my family. Nobody is judging anybody for not leading a luxurious life.

In the past there were times people use to get billed 3, 5, 20 etc........times more then their normal billing payment. Looks like LLabs or whoever is doing outsource billing now doing that same mistake al over again.

You people are assholes. Plain and simple, She comes to the forums looking for help and you use it as a reason to judge assume and pick someone apart. Get you asses back in the game because if someone asking for help is nothing more than a reason for you to debate and flame someones life your spending way to much time on the forums and not "playing" the game.

Second, you're right saying this thread comes down to an issue regarding what could potential be construed as theft, however the original poster is the one who dramatically exclaimed the financial calamity losing a relatively small amount of money caused her real life.
Perhaps if she simply presented the facts and withheld all the histrionics and hyperbole, she could have avoided peoples concerns about her welfare and that of her family. She was in a stressful situation and in panic mode, not the time most people worry about phrasing everything right so the forum monsters don't pick her apart. |

Let's just say I think people have every right to make their own life choices, but I do have a soft spot for kids, who cannot choose themselves. If I have to take a little heat for caring, then so be it. I'm just glad to find out it was not all that bad after all.

I suppose thats what happens when you make huge assumptions on someones life based on 2 or 3 lines. Could of just been a bad week for her, we have all had bad weeks now and then. But no one here knew enough about the situation to make any judgment calls. But yea people taking a girl stressed and in panic with a problem and using it to tear her down and make judgment calls instead of offering ways to help or taking the time to understand more before hurting her reputation was crappy. |
