Have you any idea how much power the average server machine draws? Multiple that exponentially (given the huge number of servers that LL must use) and you've got something that we in the industry call "financially inviable".

Most of he servers that run the grid are in Texas.

A natural gas generator would power the servers in SF just fine.

I think it depends on what region you were in at the time, since different servers govern different regions.

As fun as it is to complain about LL, this isn't their fault.

So, quite a bit more than LL/SL was affected.

They've taken the whole grid offline for the moment to try and sort the problems out. Can't say I blame them.

Hopefully the 500l+ worth of stuff I bought right before grid went down returns to my inv. Im so upset at this point, I recieved items (3) went to view notecard, couldnt.... logged out back in several times items are now gone after 6 log in attempts. random groups also including my own charging me small fees like as this was going down, never seen this before.

My own group charges me 30l? for what? and where does it go, its my group?

Whats a Group Liability? it just randomly takes money from me, my own group takes 30l, where does it go theress only 3 members, another new group I jouined today took 3l why?
